Tho he fails at stopping the war from happening. After his meeting with Adolf Hitler, Hitler turns around and says to himself "sucker, he fell right into my plan"

Giving Hitler an inch was a horrible decision as a leader. Because greedy people will always take a mile. Just like Hitler did.

Chamberlain knew exactly what he was doing.. The goal was to play Hitler against the Soviets and destroy communism..

Strategy was to remove a border between nazi germany and Russia which is why they let hitler have all those countries.

Things didnt quite work out that well for chamberlain because of domestic issues and so on but "appeasing" was actually collaborating..
