wow, I always thought that if I visited New York sometime I would have to go see MY FAVORITE SHOW IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!! But that is crazy! Although, on the bright side, the kind of people who would wait like that (SNL fans) are the kind of people you'd want to spend time with in line anyway.
That was absolutely fascinating. Still draws that kind of devoted crowd after all these years. I never would have guessed it was like that. Must be a NYC thign.
My ex and i use to do this.there are some die hard fans it is alot of fun.some tips if you really want to get in get there early,some people get there as early as 3pm on friday afternoon.You have two chances to get in,1 is the dress rehersal.its not the live show but fun cause you get to see the screw ups and 2 is the actual show.good luck get there early.

We are in line for standbyu tickets, they have already given out all the real tickets and if someone doesnt show up then the first person in line gets a ticket. If 20 people dont show up then 20 standbys get a ticket and so on.
Wow, that's awesome! When was this filmed? BTW Im form Australia, did you fly to America just to see SNL? How much did it cost? Did you see Jimmy Fallon? OMG why am I talking? Ok sorry about all the questions, im just excited!
hey, I was there for the cast. Yeah its a pretty cool thing to do, I was just really sad cause I got number 39 and they ended up letting 38 people in. I was waiting at the elevators when we were told. I am really gutted. We were there so early. Its sucks.
Me & my friends were there & are in your vid when you were walking the line. We were like #30 in line & I was knocked out at 4 lol which was so hard to do! We had fun & we got into the dress rehearsal along with Dennis which was awesome! Dennis was so nice & it was awesome how everyone there knows him. My friends and I want to be just as cool as Dennis. Oh yea we were there for Lindsay, but most people were there for Pearl Jam. Who were u there for?
