I've always thought the main reason that USA/Israel was maneuvering to annihilate Egypt with nuclear weapons during the time of the USS Liberty was to try to erase the proof that judaism and christianity were totally plagiarized from Egypt. In order for USA/Israel to dominate the earth they have to be able to claim that their idealogy is correct. The only way to make that claim is if jews are in Israel but they have been unable so far to erase all the evidence that judaism is plagiarization.

I'm not too surprised. I know the rules of war and that exact same strategy is called martyrdom (e.g. "Remember the Alamo), except use your allies as guinea pigs. Even Nazis did the similiar tactics when they dressed up as Polish soldiers and destroyed a radio station that spoke out against Nazis. Then, they had a lame reason to attack Poland.

Nothing to do with false flag operations. The NSA, which was in charge of the USS Liberty, was feeding raw intel on IDF troop movements to Egypt. The IAF/IDF knew this for sure when their intelligence planes, e.g. Flying boxcar, flew over the ship and pinpointed their raw intel feed going to the British intel center based in Cyprus.
Its not a coincidence that the Liberty was put out of commission before the attack on the Golan Heights, nor that the Egyptians offered a truce following the attack

In this case, I don't see how attacking the USS Liberty was a BETTER solution to this than simply ENTERING the conflict on Isreal's behalf, or if you want to say that the people would have been against such an act, then to say that the EGYPTIANS attacked the ship, or to have provoked an ENEMY force to attack.

We got Texas by sending a unit into Mexico, they were attacked, and the word was that it was on US soil. BAM, we're in the war. THIS conspiracy, in contrast, seems haphazard, it would be more logical, in my view, for us to, as I said, go and provoke the EGYPTIANS into attacking us. MUCH easier, MUCH less liability on the part of the conspiritors, etc...

Here's a more logical explaination. The people giving the orders were confused, the pilots were saying "it's an american ship" and the higher ups were saying, "no it isn't" Given the utter chaos going on that day, I find this plausable, and INFINITLY more so than the conspiracy theory.

Yes, but they continued the attack even AFTER the ship was identified. The Israeli story has changed a couple times. First, it was 'our positions were being fired on from a ship that was reported. when we showed up, the only ship there was liberty. Then it changed to 'well we thought they were giving information to Egypt thats why we attacked.' A clear indication of lying.

A soldier is not asked to question. He takes orders, nothing more. Something like a 'Do you really need to know?' basis. Critical information of this nature would not be shared with even Israeli soldiers. Only higher ups, and departmentalized intelligence. Meaning if 1 is caught he only knows 1 person in on it.
