My Friend Chipmunk

My wife wants a chipmunk for a pet, but I'm saying NO NO NO! We saw some for sale in a petshop in Denmark MANY years ago.. but they belong in the wild, not in a cage.. This video made me smile.. :)

I forgot how small chipmunks were! We only have the regular tree squirrels here. My Ranger dog loves to chase them back up into the trees. But really, they just toy with him. :0)

Chipmunks are so cute. I love the way they hold their tail straight up when they run. They're around here but they don't show up in the yard much. I always see them running along the road side on the way out to the main road.
