That's why they appeal to so many people; their lyrics are open. You can say they're about God, they're about love...they're about anything.. There's no secret that they probably are more based on God than anything else; considering the band is heavily Christian...but, I don't think they've said that's what it is. So, it's about whatever you want it to be about...it talks to a heap of different emotions and topics.
