I was actually at the D23 event and got to take a picture with my favorite characters... GONZO, FOZZY, AND THE SHRIMP DUDE...lol it was so cool. A memory that will not be forgotten.

I really like it as Disneyland, welcoming the production with the Muppets. Its make the Muppets meets Disney, a great American history!

I was there on my birthday (2 days later on the thirteenth) and we saw swedish chef in the window of the candy store or atleast his back from peeking through the background. the closest ive been to a live muppet. IT WAS AWESOME!

I'm still glad Jim Henson Company still use puppets and not special effects. Their a cult classic.

Well actually, the Disney folk have made the Muppet characters part of their company in 2004. But yeah, they're still a great cult classic regardless.

I was there that day !! Thanks for posting !! I saw them film with Rizo the rat and other rat tourists by Thunder Mountain. They were all wearing mini Mickey ears !!

I have the feeling since next year is Disneyland's fifty fifth and the Muppet's fifty fifth, they're going to promote both and celebrate them at the same time.

@MANEATINGWREATH Hopefully that means Season 4 and 5 on DVD of The Muppet Show... then maybe the whole complete set with, hopefully, the complete segments
