Her talk is annoying and this makeup tutorial overall sucked. It looked like the student got punched in eyes, it was just Black, no depth to it. Also, pale people can use darker colors, it's just about choosing the right shade. She also should've used bronzer and other makeup to tie in the look. Besides, that student wasn't the most attractive so she should get all the help she can get,lol.

the model looks looks shes very pale, very white looking, needs some bronzer, lipstick, blush, and good eye contouring to show her eyes, (not just a single shade of color) a nice sequence of colors will look beautiful on her eyes, and not just some dark one shade color that makes her eyes look like panda eyes.

i've also dark hair and brown eyes. I'm trying with medium and dark shades of brown, with a brown eyeliner from some days on. It worked!! Kinda of smoky and "dark" for a day look, but I like it

I have dark brown eyes too but I've been told to stay away from brown eyeshadows--should I just say the hell with it and use brown??

It's not so extreme as "say the hell"... the quid lies on a kind of "try-and-error" and look for the colours that best suits you. I can recommend you Mary Kay products and/or Lancôme ones... they are simply the best!!!

P. S.: Lancôme's look for this season -for the eyes- is simply... awesome... I want it!!

ever heard of tweezers ? your eyebrows are almost mating and the woman doing the makeup really should have prepared the whole of her face such as moisturiser, concealer, foundation, bronzer, blush, lip gloss maybe some lipstick... before showing the eye makeup it would have had more of an effect

The ilumination and the handle of the camera are terrible, so thah diminishes the vid quality. The model is not so young to wear that kind of heavy makeup. In addition, the makeup base is very pale, in accentuates the expresion lines and wrinkles. However, the make up artist is very entusiastic and I think that if she strains will be doing it better. Keep on practice.

I think the make-up was to dark and the models eye brows were to dark and thick. I think it was good make-up its just that, that particular technique was not good on that particular model.
