in my opinion, everything went downhill after season 2. i'm not saying season 3 was bad 'cause it wasn't. it was good... just not as good as season 2. but everything after that really SUCKED! just my opinion.
I think Joss always does this...his season 1's are never great and when season 2 comes along the show always gets better for Joss. Which is why i think Dollhouse got cancelled, cos people don't give tv shows too much of a chance anymore unless it's a great first season.
Great characters were introduced in S2, my all time fave Spike!
Was great how the gang got more close knit this season, and Caudillia was half the bitch she was in S1, Oz is great! Loved the Werewolf Arc bought another dimension to the show.
Watching your reviews is actually making me want to watch them again...i really loved season 2, angel was great as the bad guy...i loved the relationship between spike, druscilla and angel and how spike seems to lose out to angel in the women department, no wonder he hates him so much :P .... and also kendra is supposed to have read the slayer handbook and everything, but dies quite crappily..guess she wasnt as good as she thought. heh. another kewl review x
Ah S2 when the show gets epic! 'Some Assembly Required' is a pretty awful episode, never liked that one but there are some AMAZING episodes in this season. Cordelia gets great. Spike & Dru! Angelus! Oz! Ripper! Jenny Calender *sniff* So much awesome.

Yeah Season 2 really picks up and introduces a lot of new great elements like Spike, Dru, Oz etc who really add to the show. The writing is just so much better, Joss always kicks things into to gear in his second seasons, so it makes you wonder what would Firefly Season 2 have been like.
