João Gilberto sempre premia os baianos com excelentes apresentações... recentemente ele tocou "Acalanto", de Caymmi, no Teatro Castro Alves, e foi uma catarse coletiva no teatro, gente chorando etc! Nesse dia, no Parque de Exposições, segundo relatos, o show tava marcado pra 1h  e ele apareceu às 5h, mas fez um show antológico... aí está um trecho desse momento singular.

Is there anything better than classic brazillian jazz? I used to be a big fan of classical music but after hearing the bitter sweet strains of the bossa nova nothing I've heard before it seems to matter. I'm forever longing for this music. It's as if I'm caught between meloncholy and joy when listening. The Brazillian people must be an incredibly hopeful and humanitarian lot if the music reveals anything about their character all. While I am inspired I must learn portuguese.

@lennoxido dude i just finished my jazz studies at college... we used to play ths tune ( and every tune we wanted to play ) in jazz style... so doesn't matter the place of birth of the tune... only the intention how is played.. please excuse my english is not my birth language
