Audi RS6 Avant 0-250 kmh kickdown acceleration

The 4.2 Bi-Turbo isn't used in the old RS4, S4 and S6. The RS4 und S4 comes with an 2,7 V6 Bi-Turbo Stock at 380HP and the S6 has an 4.2 V8 without a Turbo and 320 HP.

And believe me, 11,7 from 100-200 km/h is not too slow, in fact of this old car with an automated Gearbox engineered in the late 1990. New RS6 with 580 HP at 10.7s, C63 AMG, 10.9 s. M5 e39 Stock at 11.5s.

The acc is possible, my one at stock is comparable.

Es ist sehr wohl ein RS6 es liegt an der Tachoskalierung, deswegen is er ab 130 km/h nicht mehr ganz so schnell. Dann ist er nicht mal im S Mode unterwegs, und der Avant is auch ziemlich lahm :-)

There is no kickdown in this video. Kickdown is a feature on automatic transmisions where it will downshift to the lowest gear possible once the accelerator is fully pressed. A downshift is not necessarily a kickdown since some manufacturers make the accelerator tighter at a certain point which is where the kickdown occurs when pressed further than that.

natürlich sind die Leistungsdaten brutal von rs6, keiner hat was dagegen gesagt!

Jeder hat seine eigene Meinung und Geschmack - und das ist auch gut so! ich finde, dass ein e63 AMG schneller bzw. schöner und besser ist.

der E55 ist mit 4,7 Sekunden und abgeregelten 250 nicht schneller, sondern gleich schnell. Der E63 AMG ist mit 4,6 Sekunden sogut wie nicht schneller, hat aber auch satte 64 PS (514) und über 2 Liter Hubraum mehr, denn der hier im Video zu sehende RS6 ist der C5 mit mit 450 PS.

Das kann jeder sagen, die Zahlen auf dem Blatt sagen aber etwas anderes. Ich mache mir hier jetzt sicher nicht die Mühe dir eine komplette Auflistung der Audi-Modellpalette zu offerieren.

Der hier im Video gezeigte RS6 leistet 450 PS und rennt auch seine 320. Er ist also nicht langsamer als der von dir angegebene E55 AMG (476 PS), weder in Beschleunigung noch Endgeschwindigkeit. Ich habe auch noch nie einen Fahrzeugtest gesehen, bei dem der Mercedes gegen den Audi gewann.

zu ML 63 - was ist das fürn vergleich mit Diesel V12 ??! ML63 ist sogar schneller als Cayenne Turbo S!

zu CL65 - soetwas baut Audi nicht?! was ist das für eine Aussage? Höchstens Minuspunkt.

zu SL65 - V12 Biturbo abgeregelt auf 1000 Nm! 5.2 Sauger mit 525 PS keine Chance!

PS. Audi baut natürlich auch schöne Autos genauso wie BMW, aber ich finde halt erfahrungsgemäß Mercedes besser.

Nuatürlich MUSS KEIN CL 65 gebaut werden, aber mehr Auswahl ist besser.

Auf Papier soll R8 auf 100 gewinnen, (0.1 sek)

Der 4B ist als Avant ein schönes auto und als RS natürlich etwas "besonderes".

Ziemlich cool find ich den Durchschnittsverbrauch, der mal fix von 12,1l auf 12,6l steigt^^

Selbst der 388PSer kann bei trochenem Wetter mit Kick-Down ohne ESP-Eingriff aus dem Stand beschleunigt werden (265iger Hinterräder). Und ja, man lässt den 4B völlig stehen und dem 4F zieht man auch davon (je schneller man fährt, je deutlicher).

Warum sollte also nen 4F mit einiges an mehrleistung und ein bisschen mehr drehmoment total verzockt werden?

Laut Test's sind es 0,2s auf 160, weiß nicht, ob das in realität für dich so entscheidend ist...

Ich sag ja, je schneller, je krasser. Bis 100 km/h tut sich da gar nix. Bis 160 km/h wenig. Ab 180 zieht der E locker weg (übrigens auch dem RS4). Glaubt es, oder glaubt es nicht. Achso - bei dem jetzigen Wetter sind die genannten Audis dafür ca. 2-3x so schnell :-))))

Yeah, it's probably that. I mean it's fast as hell till it reaches about 160km/h but after that it seems like it goes out of puff :). But it can be the fact that it's not in S-mode, it also probably isn't using all the rpm range... But I also had an exaggerated expectation of it's performance.

es kommt nicht nur auf die Daten an.. die so oder so nicht vollkommen stimmen klar.. der neue RS6 avant ist schon ne Rakete.. aber sein hohes Gewicht ist auch zu bedenken. gut mit 580 PS hat er mehr PS als der E 63 AMG aber dazu auch ein höheres gewicht. laut audi braucht er 4,6 sek. von 0-100. Und der E63 4,5 sek. Es lässt sich streiten welches Auto schneller oder schöner ist. Geschmack sache aber ich bin für den Benz.

The RS6 has a V10 5.0 580hp 6250rpm engine, the Gallardo has a V10 5.2 560hp 8500rmp.

The two engines are totally differents. You can compare the Gallardo engine with engines of Audi S8 and S6 and R8 but not the RS6 who is Twinturbocharged.

Im not confused I have an RS6 Kiwisrlegendery is confused. I have MPH on my speedo however I also know how they are laid out in KPH

You are confused by the scale changing on the speedo

It is NOT fake although It might seem that there is a problem when the needle moves to 70kmph in slightly less than 3 seconds. But remember this thing has 10 cylinders, yes TEN, with 4 valves each, so that's forty valves for you mate so 0-100kmph in 4.4 secs.

For having 10 cylinders I would say the performance of this car is quite average, given that engine designers have managed to achieve 0-100kmph in 6 secs with only 5 cylinders.

You are discounting the fact that this is an estate car that will do this with 5 people and a few dogs inside.

Motorbikes have tiny engines but can do 0-100kph very fast.

That 5 cylinder you mention probably had a turbo on it.

This car has 8 cylinders 4.2 litre V8 bi turbo. Not ten cylinders

The RS 6 Avant available in the UK ships with a 5.0L TSFI twin turbo V10 producing 572 BHP give or take.
