University of Nottingham Freshers Address 2010

Unfortunately, this year, the SU and the University decided the above was inappropriate for Freshers' Address, and all that took place was a conference-style set of speeches and video.

@excessi0n That sucks! I was a fresher last year, and this was an awesome experience for us. Plus it provided a talking point for our 1st ever meal in Halls. The conference/speech bits were just boring!

Definitely dig the video. I've just applied to Nottingham Uni as a transfer student. I'm wondering if you can speak to the nightlife and campus in general. I guess, something about the university experience. I go to Dickinson College in the states and its a real downer, the "student union" isn't really active at all, and theres almost nothing to do in the town. Cheers.
