Vince Carter is such a good or the BEST player ever. And it's good to have him to Orlando combined with Dwight Howard. Everything is good, but only one thing. No no, even tho those players are amazing it' just impossible for tem to get MVP. Now don't get me wrong..VC is my idol and i am a huge fan but MVP is determined mostly by the player stats during the whole season and they don't give the award to players just because the make attractive plays. VC is a leader and i am sure that he is a future Hall of famer but there are really many other players at his level in the league. We have to admit that there are and a lot better ones.

They also picked up Matt Barnes, Ryan Anderson and Brandon Bass.

Now they got depth and a guy who can create his own shot, something they didn't use to have.

Dwight might have holes in his game, but it doesn't necessarily need to be deep, given that he held the highest FG% throughout the year. And he's still developing.

Pietrus is most likely to play the SF. And VC will likely play in rotation. Though given Lewis' height and shooting ability, he is capable. He's got a soft touch and he can hit his FT's if fouled. Though I don't think anyone really expects that. He plays the PF. So why you brought that up is beyond me.

Moreover, Shaq is still better than your avg center, but he aging, and he doesn't rack up many minutes due to health. He may be an improvement at the position, but far from the missing piece.
