When you watch Nolan Ryan getting his 5000th strikeout it was just a tremendously exciting thing when it happened, and same with somebody getting a walk-off homerun or base hit. In games like these, you can break an extraordinary record and your guy just..kinda smiles with a little bit of crowd noise.

blkshades95 I'm guessing you have never played this games because in RTTS you don't just place ur stats u have to earn points 2 enhance ur stats. U start of average to bellow average & u have certain goals to achieve in order to get those points. Its challenging & can take awhile to do

because baseball fans respect tradition, it happens all the time when a player in a visiting stadium accomplishes something significant the crowd gives a standing O or at least acknowledges the feat. I was at the Metrodome when Frank Thomas hit his 500th homerun with the Blue Jays and the crowd gave him a standing O, its called respect son.

the developers should really add more to achievements like this one, and the home run record. "a remarkable achievment what an honor" does not do it. a little fireworks, or a flashing banner and maybe same camera guys and teamates congratulating him isn't too much to ask for. its seems the show has been the same game for like 4 years now, maybe a few new features but basically same game. really need to add more

i got lucky cause in my RTTS career some 1 got hurt like 10 games in so i got called up 2 AAA real fast but it took like 1 season and a half to get 2 the MLB but my last hit in AAA was a game winning grand slam (cause it was in the top of the 14th. i think)
