Much like a tornado, times infinity. Flash doesn't have to hit you directly. That speed number one is blinding. It comes at you from many different direction. It is overpowering. Stand behind a jet engine, never once does the jet wash make a fist and strike you, however, it does hit you like ton of bricks...Flash is no joke, I just wish the creators of this episode would have had him striking Luthor from many different direction like bolts of lightning...

you don't know much about speedsters then, or Wally West for that matter, he wasn't just vibrating his body, he was vibrating at the molecular level his atoms coudl pass through solid matter in that state, and Wally leaves a sympathetic Vibration in whatever he passes through causing them to explode, which is what he was doing to the Brainiac/Luthor Nanotech armour

You don't know much about the D.C. universe speedforce speedsters then. Wally West is connected to the speedforce, that's where he gets his speed from. The speed force provides and invisible barrier that protects Wally when he's running. The faster he runs, the more powerful it is.

As for how he breaks the armor, Wally is running at speeds greater than light in this scene (again, speed force), and as well all know from physics the faster you go the harder you hit. (infinite mass)
