This is their best album. I`m a huge fan but to make an album this consistently good and not get recognition is unbelievable. Which makes it even more desirable because sometimes you just don`t want things everyone else has.

It's weird..... this was never one of my favorites from the album, but now (over 20 years later - eek I'm old) it's got a totally different feel.... much cooler than when it was mixed in with the rest of the OOH YEAH stuff....... nice post!

I love this song. My life wouldn`t be the same without Daryl and John. My brother used to come over to my apartment after I left home and he would always ask for me to play Hall and Oates. Other stuff too,like Inxs "Kiss The Dirt:. The reason I say this is my brother was murdered in 94` and we used to sing this together when we were in our late teens and still sharing a bedroom. I just miss those times we shared. One hour before he died he told me he loved me for the first time over the phone.

Sounds like a xylophone in the background unless it's synthesized. Wonderful sax playing, I'll bet it's Charlie again doing his magic. I'm really out of touch with music from this period (I was living in a bubble then--too busy with studies and trying to make ends meet)... I'm thankful for YouTube in helping me fill this vacuum in my life.... Re: Lyrics/ when you have a lot of heart, you wear your scars like badges earned in some kind of battle -- as a survivor.
