I pray he'll change himself first and make sure that those in need at no fault of their own get help as opposed to fattening the pockets of the elite as he has allowed in the past.
I don't support him because he fails to acknowledge fundamental truths that most of you should know.
1. The u.s. consumes 24% of the world's oil. We can't afford this any more and this is the root of the current crisis. Economically feasible alternative energy is largely an illusion. We can't afford the car as the primary mode of transportation anymore.
2. The U.S. is the only industrialized society that suffers from a healthcare crisis. We need a public health insurance system like Canada.
3. The American economy CANNOT be based on consumerism. This is destroying the planet. Nor is it economically sustainable as is becoming increasingly evident.
4. A truly educated society is a contradiction to a consumeristic society. Investing more money in education will not deliver the hoped for results if we don't fundamentally change the nature of our society.
Those are just a few reasons off the top of my head why I don't support him.

he is a product of American Education at its peak and idealism. He will deal with the problems, the way our educational system has been teaching us, using logic, objectivity and compassion. We live in a wonderful country: GW Bush just ran on "whats good for me" for rich people
bush set that up with meetings with canada and mexico.. nothing to do with obama.. when bush says he will be the dictator, even after he's gone you have to ask your self.. am I crazy for blaming Obama?
These are indeed some very difficult times, but I'm filled with hope knowing that Barack Obama is our leader in resolving this crisis. We are truly blessed!
