Sorry, I don't like her version of the song. Her voice IS lovely, but where is the passion and the longing? Her tone is directly at odds with the song's lyrics. She sings the whole song in a breathy albeit pretty voice, but any mediocre singer could do that.

Nina Simone does a cover of this also. their careers are very similar. brilliant artist, can't be catergorized, avant garde, etc. peep the Nina Simone video on here also. i heard the original version of this song in an independent movie named "Matthewville" or something to that extent, and i gotta say, she served it every bit of justice and more.
