Loved Jack & Heath's take of the Joker character, they both put their own impression & style into the part - sign of true gifted actors! But, there's only one actor who this role was made for & who was able to bring this colorfully insane persona to life, that was Cesar Romero!
near the last day of the school year at my school they get random people to play as batman and robin. i got the joker part and did the unmasking scene. drama teacher said only inaccuracy was that i had no mustache.
i've always why they would give up crimefighting if there identities were revealed, then i realized that being a vigilante is a crime so they'd go to prison where all the criminals they put in there are staying.
I would have loved to have seen Joker grab his cowl, pull it hard so you hear it ripping apart with the remains of the cowl hanging around Batman's shoulders
Its' rather obvious that both Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger both sampled a bit of Cesar Romero's take on the Joker. Given the confines of the campy 60s show, -he was fierce!!= A trulu gifted actor!
I heard a joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life is harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor... I am Pagliacci." Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains.
Great damn episode...makes me miss when F/X was actually showing good ol' television shows....wait, was that a photon torpedo from the Enterprise that launched the Joker outta there?
If the Joker unmasked Batman, this is waht would've happened:
After the Dynamic Duo was unmasked, the scene cuts to Commissoner Gordon's office, where the shocked Commissioner blurts out, "Bruce Wayne!"
The next scene, Aunt Harriet than screams out "Dick Grayson! so that's where those excuses going fishing and that other crap were for! and suddenly she dies of a heart attack, to which Alfred cries out, "Madam!"

I have every episode on DVD and I plan on going through each one for highlights. Will look for the Joker singing opera. Forgot about the opera buffs!

One of the best Joker episodes. The first season was the best of the three.
