Can Mjolnir conjure the right kind of lightning to take Cap's powers away? That is the question. One blast of magic lightning would seriously change the odds.

@rnbsnemtp No one in either DC or Marvel can beat Thor 'hands down'. The only magic i seen Shazam use was in anmination & he said' shazam' against superman. I seen black-adam used lighting bolts from his hands. The marvel family uses flight, & strenght mostly. Rarely mercury's speed is used, could be wrong. As far as Atlaz, Achillies, we don't see how his powers of smartness is used in fighting. Strenght,speed, flight is what shazam uses most, & not even speed like a speedster. Thor for me.

@illmadeknight the hammer itself would hurt, but don't forget that Captain Marvel's body is also super durable. Can Thor muster up the sufficent amount of force in a swing to do enough damage to beat him? It would help If I knew how much Thor can lift with his hands.
@rickames Let's put it this way, if you hit Superman with a regular hammer, it would have no effect because Superman is near invulnerable with his body being tougher than steel. So in order for it to damage him it would have to either have magic properties or be made of material tougher than Supermans skin and be swung with enough force to do harm. Now Captain Marvel is as strong and invulnerable as Superman, but isn't vulnerable to magic.

It's simply fun to me, but some people call names & take the fun out of it. I saw the movie, & i was planning on waiting to the 3rd week, but i went & saw it any way. I though Thor was good to be the first movie, & he kicked but before & after his powers. Did you see it & are you choising, Thor or Shazam?

Like you say captain marvel barrows his power mysticly from the gods, and Thor is a god especially of storms, as well as other mystical ability, I think it's safe to assume Thor would have no problem winning this one as he strips captain marvel of his power, because his power arn't truly his in the first.

The Hulk smacks around Thor like a ragdoll. And while I honestly believe that Hulk could beat Superman, in comics not so.
