the first time i saw larkin play was in a real small rock club/pizza joint in winchester va...he was 14 and his parents had to be there when he played cause he was a minor...probly seen him 200 times since then...i would put him head to head with ANY drummer suckin air...the only competition i ever saw was Peart...recognize...you should see this sucker play hardcore...check out his project from the 80's....its called KIDDIE PORN as i think they were all minors at the time...

Although it technically isnt "godsmack" it was the members of godsmack with out Sully....this was during the writing for godsmack IV Sully got writers block, so the band went and recorded music anyway....hired Whitfield Crane (who shannon worked with before in Ugly Kid Joe) and formed this band "another animal"...GREAT ALBUM!!

Actually, if you watch Danny Carey, he's not all over the place like Shannon Larkin or Morgan Rose. As fellow pro drummer for years I used watch from balcony behind Shannons drums at Hammerjacks in Baltimore with his first band called Wratchild 20 years ago (with my fake ID and Shannon underage also). Hes the best aggresive drummer in rock and an incredibly nice guy. This poser owes his drumming career to him.
