Milltek Exhaust On My Audi A5 3.0 TDI

nice sound man today i revved the shit out of a a5 3.0 tdi quattro rental car it sounded sick, turbo wise but the power of the exhaust is sex:P

@amadeuspaulussen - It took a little while to fully bed in so give it time and it should sound a bit better hopefully!

@uvmatt3000 - Yea you can really hear the turbo through the exhaust its awesome! No the exhaust hasn't annoyed me at all, Ive had them on for nearly two years now and no complaints.

@eddhick It was from a local place called Roadrunner which is in Nottingham, then I worked out the Milltek HQ was only about 15mins away from me so now I deal with the personally. However I think most of the time it's probably better to go through a dealer if you live a distance away. They are based in Derby.

The middle silencer is still there, the particle filter is also still there, it is only the back box that is different to make it sound like this so not much modifying at all! Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I am told by SKN tuning Slovenia, that the package of K&N air filter (panel) engine optimisation and Miltek exhaust will enable 320bhp and around 630 nm of torque tested on a dyno. This for under 2k euros. Also improved fuel economy.

Yeah I agree amazing sound on this A5 3.0TDI. The car is next to perfect, I think the sound was the only thing missing when it rolled out Ingolstadt factory. Does this particular exhaust system enable more horsepower or is it just the sound? Thanks for your answer in advance

@byf1864 Thanks for the comment! It is mainly for the sound only, it does allow a bit of a quicker spool time for the turbo and possibly a little more horsepower, i'm not too sure on exact figures though. It's worth it just for the sound tbh.

Yea definately get it superchipped too, I took mine down to the HQ to get it done and it pulls a lot harder now! The milltek helps keeps the exhaust temps and also helps the turbo spool up a little quicker so its definately worth doing both things, and of course it sounds a lot better too :-)

Whoaaa I didnt expect this kind of sound from a Diesel. I am supported of petrol cars only cuz all my life we've been driving SUV's which burn like Loads of Petrol. But I might make my dad get a diesel. Looks Promising. But after you drive it alot doesnt the black smoke start coming out. Still a great car. Enjoy it.

Its a great car to be honest, it has something called a DPF filter in it and this makes sure that there is no black smoke.. It really works, I have never seen any smoke out of the exhaust!! I will do a video of it on the move soon to get a better idea of the sound.. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks very much, I agree, diesels of today are a whole new level!! I got it remapped the other day too by superchips and it really does pull a lot stronger!! Will be taking it to a dyno soon so will post the results of that! :)

Ill do another vid of a flyby soon, the weather has been shocking here lately.. Iv'e never seen any black smoke coming out of it, it's a clean diesel however I can provide you with plenty turbo noise. Check back soon.
