@The6thMessenger I handled the prototype today and it is in fact bullpup. The Magazine is really interesting too as the pistol pulls the cartridges out of the back of the magazine. The magazine stack sits right beneath the chamber.
I told the person that had it that I'd like to see a slidestop for a last round hold open. The trigger is unbelievably nice, and will absolutely allow a second, third, or twenty-seventh try at a primer. (It's got a DA hammer, and is DA only)
It will be one of the most thoroughly tested new guns ever.
Yes, this is taking a long time to get to market and for those of us that have takent the time to really look closely there is no other option like it at any price.
I just want one NOW! Latest target for production is April 2011.
The Boberg pistol prototype has been around for years but no production model has ever materialized. All they have is a website and ever-retreating deadlines. At the website you can get bumper-stickers and T-Shirts, but no pistols! I have heard people say the whole operation is a scam. However I disagree - they are not accepting money from people for guns to be delivered later. It is not really a scam it is just a hoax! I think Arnie Boberg must just like all the attention.

Pistols are being delivered. I picked mine up today.
