Yeah, dean is a cool character, but I still loath the 6th and 7th Season because they are so redundant. The main story arc ended in Season 5 and everything beyond that can be sumarized like that. Dean, Sam, Bobby, the Impala, I've been to hell - me too, son of a bitch!
Dean is a totally loveable character, all because of how Jensen portrays him! Not sure that another actor would be able to pull that off, but because of how loveable Jensen is and how much he has made us care about Dean, this is the BEST character on tv! (And yes, I love Sam, too! They both are awesome!)
I love that he saids "you want me to say it as dean huh? son of a bitch..now I gotta get into character.." it took me a few mins. to actually hear him mutter son of a bitch right away..

I've noticed that Jensen's voice is slightly raspier when he plays Dean; not as much as Misha's gravely Castiel voice, though. Its more subtle.

@Calriec And it didn't start out that way. If you go back and watch the first season, his voice isn't as deep. I always find it amusing lol ;)
