Why does everyone complain about this song isn't Christian-like. I'm a Christian so I know not everything you do, everything you like, everything you listen to, and everything you say has to be about God. They just aren't extremely religious. People will never consider Christian rock bands and regular rock bands. Skillet is no different than any other rock band out there.

This song is by a Christian band. And since I am a Christian, this is what the song means to me.

The view of Christianity has become so warped that the religion is now more about hate than love. We are supposed to openly love people, but since they don't want our "love", we hide it and keep it buried deep down. Because it is hard to stick to your convictions with someone screaming in your face that you are wrong.
