I have sympathy for him. And I don;t care if people think that makes be bad or stupid. How can anyone think that the action of Moat weren't the actions of a seriously disturbed man. What drove him to that point was far from just being about his own actions. And frankly whenever someone sinks to such depths it is to escape responsibility to not see it as a searing indictment on our society.

@AnnoyingTypoSyndrome - What I find stressful is that the scenario that unfolded is like 15 dozen storyline from Prisoner Cell Block H! It's such a common failure of criminal justice system it was cliche by the 1980's! It's lesson 1 when you do crime and pounishment in A level sociology. This government act as if it unfathomable and novel. I have a friend of sorts coming out of prison soon and his missus has been playing with his mind all the time he's been inside. Watch this space!

And we all mistreat each other most days of the week. One common example is not having the time to listen when someone is obviously wanting talk about something that's upsetting them or effecting them, and many are guilty of the "minimal response" too, caring more about our time than giving good advice

@JustB3NJI - Ultimatly as much as the system needs fighting, humans rely heavily of family and peers and there in is the key solution. The system could have done everything humanly possible to help but it's not enough if don't have a decent support network of family and friends when you come out. Like with my friend she is being aboutly selfish manipulative and attention seeking and she will act like she has done nothing wrong if he come out and turns violent on her.

Lonliness is it's own curse regardless of a persons situation, and i'm sure you know of the many stuides which shows how badly humans react to a lack of human interaction. Some can cope, most cannot. Not only that but we are all depedant on approval, and my point in bringing it up was to say we have a support network inwhich we get the correct forms of approval - and counsel.

So we do as little as we can all the willing to not consider how depedant we our selves are upon those close to us.

@JustB3NJI - Had these acts been of an isolated nature in the context of what had otherwise been a life void of crime, abuse and adherence to the law you may have had a point. The reality is this man is a repeat offender. A bully who abused his family, a man who had been prosecuted on numerous occasions in the past for his violent and abusive behavior. not to mention a previous charge of intent to commit murder which had subsequently been dropped. @Eddiclight - Well you only underscore my point better. What was he doing being released in the first place? If he was a prolific repreat offender he should have had more rehab and he should have had a longer sentance. Am I the only oe who think the Prison knew of his failing relationship and his persistant desire to go back to his old relationship? Why wasn't she warned to treat him with better tact? Why no restraining order? Why no tagging or monitoring? Why no help when he asked for it?

@Eddiclight That does not change the fact that the legal constitution was shredded by those employed to uphold it. We do not have execution capital punishment however Moat was summarily executed. What poses the greater danger here, Moat or the firearms team that deal out death breaking the law while keeping the media in strict line with the planning and execution of their unlawful activity. You see the Media are part and parcel the problem.
