If Madge doesn't give the pin to Katniss then alot of history in Catching Fire is lost. Because the pin belonged to Masilee Doner who passed it on until it reached Madge. So they can't show the 50th Quater Quell because Masilee would have the pin. So series *RUINED*

Even though the pin was Masilee Donner's they can always have Peeta and Katniss come across the video and see that Masilee was Mrs. Everdeen's friend. Chill! The series is no where *NEAR* ruined. And if it is please help me understand why. Also you never know if Masilee ends up wearing the MockingJay pin in the 50th Hunger Games and they explain that it was maybe passed on to the mom.
