Jesset this show was very one sided, read Rachel Carson's "Silent Spring" from 1960's predicting global climate change, warming, freezing, tidal waves, massive deaths of birds and fish from the polution, and pestisides, in our air and water. Discovery Times channel doc about the Bush adminstrations policy to fund Universites federal grants if they discredited global warming. Sadly they couldn't hide the global warming so they took over the movement.to make billions. COUNTILPRO alive & well.

What about the conspiracy of the oil companies paying scientist to conduct studies that show global warming is not happening, then later, studies that show it's not caused by humans? Next, when ever more studies come out, they will have to admit that it is cause by human activity but then they will say that it's a good thing. We want a warmer planet. Then when it's too late, and we are all screwed, they will somehow blame it on environmentalists.
I agree with one statement in this show, "They are smarter" then the producers of this episode. What a pile of crap. The other episodes that I seen have been very well done. But this one misses the important points of the issue.

@truthIsStranger Venus has its own atmosphere with lots of CO2(and I think methane, but I'm not sure). This makes it the hottest planet in the solar system I think(hotter than Mercury which is closer to the sun).

They are just people who want to feel important with their opinion and elementary level research. The real debates happen within the scientific forums/peer reviewed literature and so on.(much less exciting) That is where hypothetical or factual gets decided. No public debate is going to settle all the scientific disputes and bring into account all the mountains of information.

There is still a public debate on whether it is real or not, but hey there is still a public debates about whether evolution is valid or not. Jesset this show was very one sided, read Rachel Carson's "Silent Spring" from 1960's predicting global climate change, warming, freezing, tidal waves, massive deaths of birds and fish from the polution, and pestisides, in our air and water. Discovery Times channel doc about the Bush adminstrations policy to fund Universites federal grants if they discredited global warming. Sadly they couldn't hide the global warming so they took over the movement.to make billions. COUNTILPRO alive & well.

What about the conspiracy of the oil companies paying scientist to conduct studies that show global warming is not happening, then later, studies that show it's not caused by humans? Next, when ever more studies come out, they will have to admit that it is cause by human activity but then they will say that it's a good thing. We want a warmer planet. The temperature increase is effecting every other planet in our system. Most notable is Venus, whose corrosive atmosphere has become so hot that it became 25 times more luminescent to the naked eye in 2009. This was also around the time the red spot on Jupiter disappeared. There are more.

and there is no coordinated warming on the other planets as you suggest, it's a myth or lie(not by you). Venus' atmosphere is as hot as it is mostly due to global warming. Its surface is hotter than Mercury's that is closer to the Sun. Jupiter is a gas giant.

I love how this whole thing is about green companies making money. Aren't there companies that make money polluting....lots of money. This is so ridiculously one sided. I love how these people are such big shots yet they need to meet in a warehouse. EVERYTHING IS ABOUT MONEY!

@fucktard435345345353 well i can say not everyone has TruTv and im pretty sure majority of people never even heard of this show. Not to mention the show being called conspiracy theory probably wont improve its popularity. I have no steady views on global warming, but considering its such a controversial topic, I say theres truths to both sides. I cant deny the fact though that when it comes to gaining money and power, people get greedy. I still need to do more research on this topic.

@alwerty1 One cannot settle a science debate on a public new channel because 1, there is not enough time 2. News debates are usually 1vs1 when in fact that’s not how the science is it's 97 to 3, but people get the idea that it’s a 50/50 change either side is right. News is a lot of drama with no fact checking after the debates.
I would not recommend researching the issue for yourself. I would try to ask experts what they think is going on and question them, as well as their credentials.

@alwerty1 The problem is that people who are doing the debating are not scientists in relevant fields. They are just people who want to feel important with their opinion and elementary level research. The real debates happen within the scientific forums/peer reviewed literature and so on.(much less exciting) That is where hypothetical or factual gets decided. No public debate is going to settle all the scientific disputes and bring into account all the mountains of information.

There is still a public debate on whether it is real or not, but hey there is still a public debates about whether evolution is valid or not. This is because these scientific facts don't fit into many people’s belief systems. So people can always say hey there is not a 100% agreement, to take advantage of scientific uncertainty.

Scientific community... he is welcome to..... check out greenman's video debunking many of Monckton's weak arguments. Richard Lindzen he actually is a credible climate scientist, one of the three percent skeptical of AGW, however he is categorized as "Contrarian" whom questions the correlation between lung cancer and smoking. He is also is part of Annapolis Center a (conservative think thank) funded by Exxon mobile and the Heartland Institute. Some how, I feel a conflict of interest.....

And all data collected says humans are NOT the reason for global warming... but instead the data show's it has happened before! the earth cool's and heat's in cycle's, and so does the sun! hence the sun spot cycle which is the smallest cycle the sun has. btw the way I'm over 40 year's old and hate little know all's that know nothing.

Yes it has happened before; nobody has ever denied the earth has warmed or cooled before (But you know that right cause you look at all the information) It’s the rate of warming at this point in time that is alarming.
