I think it was the best scheme ever however I believe the color palate could have used some tweaking. The Green should have been a bit more greener and I believe we should have Used the entire name all along. BNSF+CSX+NS+UP+KCS+KCS de M = acronym central. The railroads should have been putting the full name on the sides of the motors. You use abbreviations on freight cars. We still use the full non existent name over the radio taking warrants. We will say B.N.S.F. Burlington Northern Santa Fe.

That scheme was what Burlington Northern had in mind, before the merger actually took place. And yes, good thing that scheme didn't last long! cheers!
