I don't understand the discussion below; Aphex versus Proem. Apart from the senslessness their are not comparable in my opinion. Discovered Proem a lot later then Aphex, but definitely like his tracks. Their styles are different, very different... Aphex has different ways to present himself and he's been around longer.

Proem blows Aphex out of the water. Aphex Twin is nothing more than mainsteam IDM trash. Proem has the electronic organic feel that makes me groove. All of his albulms have been awsome!

Aphex incorporates acid and jungle and proper techno, Proem doesnt, how the hell can you compare them? Not to mention the Aphex has more skill, and style. Proem sounds like a thousand other 3rd wave electronic musicians. Proem breaks no molds, he merely assimilates to them.
