@Arostyle380 disease and us taking their habitat is killing them off, greys are a stronger species, kill the greys the environment suffers, help the reds they will still die out. squirrels bury nuts and berries to eat at a later date and they forget were they put most of them, so they grow into trees and bushes. culling greys is harming the environment, WD idiots

I don't think reds and greys can interbreed.What your seeing is probably changes in coat colour.At different times of the year the coat can change shade and become less red in winter.

A grey squirrel whether it appears red or not will always have a 'halo' around its tail where the hair is tipped with white - a red will always have a solid tail, although it can have bleaching to underside, it will never have white edging

I appreciate what you're saying but the reality is that only a well resourced group funded by the government for example could trap them and ship them back to America and they don't seem to care. It honestly seems the only thing I could do to help is shoot these grey squirrals - we have fed these before in the park so its not something I say because I hate them at all but no one appears to be helping the red squirrals re-conquer this country.

Nein.Die Wildtiere in diesem Park werden laut Aussage einer älteren Dame seit 11 Jahren täglich zur selben Zeit gefüttert.Die Scheu zum Menschen ist so abhanden gekommen.Einige mutige krabbeln im Sommer sogar an einem hoch.Angenehm ist das jedoch nicht, da die Krallen extrem spitz sind!
