  • That looks yummy!

  • The BEST DIP EVER!!!!!!!

  • Thank you for posting this video! I LOVE babba ghannouj! I'm going to make some:D

  • your stove fascinates me. now i'm hungry

  • I don't recommend buying a flat top stove, you have to clean the burners all the time with a powder like baking soda. It's the only thing that removes the black stains from when stuff boils over and crap.

  • really? that's too bad, it looks so cool.

  • Great job Ashley :) for me japanese, this is one interesting and different way how to cook Eggplants :) and I wanna try this tonight!! Looks beautiful and yum. By the way, I like the eggplant s skin better than the inside :P so will dip the crispy skin into this. Thank you.

  • great, let me know how it goes

  • Wow! That looks great! Nice job.

  • I am a terrible vegetarian, allergic to eggplant and can't stand mushrooms. Are their any variations to this dish, maybe with squash?

  • Wow, allergic to eggplant, thats a first I've heard that one. Yes, steam some butternut squash untill soft and you can try adding the other ingredients, although I don't suggest adding lemon. It'll be a sweet dip incomparison, I'd add a pinch of cinnamon as well.

  • If you're not allergic to zucchini, you could try the same thing with that. To that I would also add some yogurt cheese (lebaneh), that would be an awesome healthy dip. I will be posting a yogurt cheese recipe soon too, it's so good and so easy.

  • Beautiful, Ashley. That does look delicious, and it gets my 'healthy approval' too. A superb example of a how-to-cook video.
