In Brazil the Line 1-Blue and Line 3-Red trains go to Bombardier, TTrans(In Tres Rios, state of Rio de Janeiro) and Alstom to make the mid-life overhaul. The Trains Operators of the Metro of Sao Paulo Says this trains is go back to service, All New. From The Original Train Composition, Only the Passengers Box.

Budd built the prototypes, the production model BART cars (all 439 of them) were designed by Sundberg-Ferar and were built by Rohr.

All of the cars went through mid-life overhaul by AEG/ADTranz/Bombardier.
