We won't change our nature, our goals and motivations, until we evolve. Evolution is a process of death, and to change our ways there will be enough of it. Let's not advocate the inevitable, just wait for it to happen.
This is what happens when you use politics and religion in nature of our planet, Earth. If we would make laws legalizing having only a few children, and having more would be against the law (SEVERE PENALTY, like prison), legalizing abortion, using rubbers GODDAMMIT, no more illegal immigration, NO more wars, using waste as energy, such as swamp gas or methane from cow poo to save resources, using the death penalty, no more wars, and no more religion! Just imagine how much better off it would be!

@learning112233 we need to stop having so many children maybe. We dont have the lifetimes, technologies or ability to survive on any other planet. we have been graced with this gift of life and we should not expect it to sustain itself in a barren landscape. One planet was found, near ONE star, many many light years away. it exists around -40 degrees celcius and might have a habitable atmosphere in a few thousand years
@WhattsHisName Our species is so fragile, we cant survive in a place that we have made so inhospitable. The Earth will warm, cool and sustain life again, being the beautiful water world that it is. Our species will not get a call back.

Millions, maybe billions of years from now someone will send a rover to earth and their scientific community will argue if there ever was an atmosphere or water in great enough amounts to have sustained life.
@PlutoTourist There is probably way too much evidence on our planet of our existence, even if there isn't there a lot of satellites orbiting the planet that could give some clue as to what went on. It is an interesting concept though.
@PeskyPanda Millions to billions of years from now I doubt any satellites will still be in orbit. Most don't last a generation before they slip out of orbit and burn up in the atmoshpere, let alone centuries or milleniums. Plus a lot of sediment accumulates over a few centuries, so millions of years after we cause our own extinction most everyting would be buried to deep for a surface exploration to find anything I figure.
@PeskyPanda What pluto said. Satellites don't 'naturally' orbit, they're orbits are either degrading (the body slowing down and "falling") or escaping (too much orbital speed and "rising"). The moon itself is flying away from us, within a thousand years the great solar eclipse will no longer be as grand so you can imagine the degradation of such a momentous amount of time as 1million years.
@unhingeddavo Really? I was under the impression that it was a natural orbit(satellites). I had no idea they gained any sort of acceleration vector perpendicular to their orbit. So they use force to keep them in a normal orbit?
@PlutoTourist "Millions, maybe billions of years from now we will conquer 10 maybe 20 plantes maybe half of our galaxy"... earth will be forgoten! there is only one truth in our existance. HUMAN PRVAILS!!!
I hope everyone that watches this and any climate change videos feels guilty for being in the Internet and using all that energy. As long as mankind thinks he was placed on this planet they will always feel guilty about something they do. Even though humans are a product of this Earth. Just like crude oil and CO'2 everything that is man made is a product of this planet and was not placed on the planet to unbalance things.
@aerobique You unpunctuated statement is very vague. Whats the matter cat got your tongue. My point to make it clear is that people just use YouTube to complain about things they do but think other people are responsible. Think about it and stop shooting the messenger because that is what most of you people do is look for a fight with someone that makes you aware.
@realmomentsdotcom The real problem is we are doing too much. We need to stop living the way we are living.. animals live in nature, while we humans live with non-natural things, for instance vehicles. The earth was meant for natural beings, not monsters like us.
@rsman169 i know! i would rather live somwhere were there is peace but now if you lived outside you would freeze to death or die of heat. the temps are crazy you might even die of the 40,000+ viruses 88% of them are manmade so if we can just,as humans would clean up there mess and be resposable to fix there planet but i think it might be to late to save earth and they might need to head to a new planet or somthing...
@wiz9496 well if you watch the news you will hear about the oil spill and how rain forest is getting cut down and alot of bad stuff thats happening so i think you need to fix you brain before telling me im wrong
well this was incredibly boring. most of it just seemed to show us how the water changes throughout time, but thats A CYCLE. the only important bits were the ozone fluctuations, deforestation and the sea that disappeared.
@Speculationist said: "You don't need to read a holy book to realise this is man's fault.".

@eggaweb "But is does go to show that both the Bible and the Quran had the right idea that we should look after the world. They new this thousands of years ago..."
Hmmmmm, Now if we could only find someone who will actually abide by the teachings of THEIR 'Book'. Wouldn’t THAT be something?
Sorry Phelan, someone else flagged it (which is why I quoted it in my reply). So perhaps you should stop jumping to conclusions and take your own advice eh?
quran said about this : 30|41|Corruption doth appear on land and sea because of (the evil) which men's hands have done, that He may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return. translation of the meaning of quran .
it wouldn't make a difference... we know that our lifestyles are harming the planet and we still continue the way we do. its not a case of being aware of the problem, its whether or not we care about it enough to change...
@humacyrnus i think it was used in the recent documentary Home. the whole thing was on youtube in high def just a while ago; might still be around. it was pretty cool.
There's one video of a great comedian called George Carlin where he speaks about Global Warming and such. It expresses my exact thoughts.
/watch?v=eScDfYzMEEw
"There is nothing wrong with the planet. Nothing wrong with the planet. The planet is fine. The PEOPLE are fucked. Difference. Difference."
"The planet has been through a lot worse than us. Been through earthquakes, plate tectonics, continental drift, solar flares, sun spots, magnetic storms, the magnetic reversal of the poles"
@RenOfEl well just cause Carlin said it doesnt make it golden. He sounds like an idiot in that video. His old ass doesnt understand the impact human expansion and pollution have on the environment and its animal life. He doesnt comprehend the permanent damage we do to our planet. He's right when he says the Earth will go regardless of what we do.....but I prefer to keep it livable and not a rotating pile of shit.
@n8goesSPLAT Greed can be a good thing if channeled appropriately. For example, establishling a market for a more efficient source of energy and competing with other sources of energy on equal terms is a good thing, even if all you want to do is make money. BUT, big oil corporations and government agencies subsidize and regulate the oil/biofuel market so no one else can compete with them. Greed in this case is a bad thing because corporations & government seek to dominate, rather than compete.
We all will eventually be doomed, enjoy life but keep your hopes up and try to change and be willing to make sacrifices for the good of humanity hopefully this generation will clean up the previous generations mess, mabey we will have enough time, so keep trying.
what really threw me, and i think of it often is how dubai represents gluttony, fakeness & destruction. i just think it was made with blood money. i saw something a couple of weeks ago about them having gold bar vending machines. the decadence is disgusting. it represents all that i hate, over the top commercialism, wastefulness and a disregard for anything decent.
@notovertheedge Blood money? It was done with modern slave, and i am not jocking it is well known that Dubai employ slave to make any construction job, with a lot of them that kill themselves at work by desperation, hopping their family would be able to touch the assurance... That is more disgusting then blood money.
In Kelowna today the air was so bad it looked like a thick haze was blanketing the valley. Planes have been spreading chemtrails like crazy the last few months, I wonder how much of an impact the governments are making with their chemical spraying? Perhaps there are other reasons why the planet is changing. When chemicals are sprayed on people and plants it changes the way they function, this could have plenty to do with weather the last 20 years.
Awesome video. But imagine if we could go back in time and do a video of the last 10,000 years of changes, or the last million years, or the last 200 million. Then it would be impossible to claim that human beings are the sole cause of changes to our earth. It's simply egocentric to believe that. We have just been here for a few minutes, geologically speaking.
@Forlo12345 You see, Forlo, the planet will be a-okay. The planet has been here for 4.5 billion years and humanity, despite all of our bravado, can't change that. The only problem that we face is the simple fact of weather or not LIFE on planet earth will be sustainable within the next few hundred years or not. Humanity pretends to be above the natural kingdom, but if the food chain falls apart and vegetation begins to die off, we will go the way of the dinosaur. But earth will still be here.
@BottlesAndKazooie There is no need to rub his face in it. We live and learn. We are supposed to encourage education. We aren't supposed to make people feel bad for not knowing certain things. That will just turn them off and they may end up going down a very long and troubling road.
Damn, the VW advertisement that played before the video was playin' something funkayyy.

If you think the Amazon is being mowed down now just wait until the democrats succeed in inflicting a global alcohol market.
The reason everything is made in China is because democrats refused to buy anything that had U.S. income tax installed in the cost of the labor.

@PlutoTourist "Millions, maybe billions of years from now we will conquer 10 maybe 20 plantes maybe half of our galaxy"... earth will be forgoten! there is only one truth in our existance. HUMAN PRVAILS!!!
Cripplednoize 1 year ago 20
I hope everyone that watches this and any climate change videos feels guilty for being in the Internet and using all that energy. As long as mankind thinks he was placed on this planet they will always feel guilty about something they do. Even though humans are a product of this Earth. Just like crude oil and CO'2 everything that is man made is a product of this planet and was not placed on the planet to unbalance things.

irresponsible nonsense
aerobique 1 year ago
@aerobique You unpunctuated statement is very vague. Whats the matter cat got your tongue. My point to make it clear is that people just use YouTube to complain about things they do but think other people are responsible. Think about it and stop shooting the messenger because that is what most of you people do is look for a fight with someone that makes you aware.

its going to get worse if we dont do somthing
realmomentsdotcom 1 year ago
@realmomentsdotcom well we can do somthing about the manmade ones not the nature ones
realmomentsdotcom 1 year ago
@realmomentsdotcom The real problem is we are doing too much. We need to stop living the way we are living.. animals live in nature, while we humans live with non-natural things, for instance vehicles. The earth was meant for natural beings, not monsters like us.
rsman169 1 year ago
@rsman169 i know! i would rather live somwhere were there is peace but now if you lived outside you would freeze to death or die of heat. the temps are crazy you might even die of the 40,000+ viruses 88% of them are manmade so if we can just,as humans would clean up there mess and be resposable to fix there planet but i think it might be to late to save earth and they might need to head to a new planet or somthing...

@realmomentsdotcom Fix the planet? I didn't even know it was broken. I think you need to have your brain fixed.

@rjdaredevil no. mars did not have as strong an atmosphere as earth so it could not trap enough heat.

RenOfEl 1 year ago
@RenOfEl well just cause Carlin said it doesnt make it golden. He sounds like an idiot in that video. His old ass doesnt understand the impact human expansion and pollution have on the environment and its animal life. He doesnt comprehend the permanent damage we do to our planet. He's right when he says the Earth will go regardless of what we do.....but I prefer to keep it livable and not a rotating pile of shit.

greed will kill us all.
n8goesSPLAT 1 year ago 2
@n8goesSPLAT Greed can be a good thing if channeled appropriately. For example, establishling a market for a more efficient source of energy and competing with other sources of energy on equal terms is a good thing, even if all you want to do is make money. BUT, big oil corporations and government agencies subsidize and regulate the oil/biofuel market so no one else can compete with them. Greed in this case is a bad thing because corporations & government seek to dominate, rather than compete.

what really threw me, and i think of it often is how dubai represents gluttony, fakeness & destruction. i just think it was made with blood money. i saw something a couple of weeks ago about them having gold bar vending machines. the decadence is disgusting. it represents all that i hate, over the top commercialism, wastefulness and a disregard for anything decent.
notovertheedge 1 year ago
@notovertheedge You think it's bad now? Wait until the middle class explodes in developing countries.
GatorHighlights3 1 year ago
@notovertheedge Blood money? It was done with modern slave, and i am not jocking it is well known that Dubai employ slave to make any construction job, with a lot of them that kill themselves at work by desperation, hopping their family would be able to touch the assurance... That is more disgusting then blood money.

In Kelowna today the air was so bad it looked like a thick haze was blanketing the valley. Planes have been spreading chemtrails like crazy the last few months, I wonder how much of an impact the governments are making with their chemical spraying? Perhaps there are other reasons why the planet is changing. When chemicals are sprayed on people and plants it changes the way they function, this could have plenty to do with weather the last 20 years.
cddorcas1 1 year ago
@cddorcas1 You're in Kelowna? I'm just outside of Kamloops in a little mountain resort town called Sun Peaks.
nathanforst 1 year ago
Awesome video. But imagine if we could go back in time and do a video of the last 10,000 years of changes, or the last million years, or the last 200 million. Then it would be impossible to claim that human beings are the sole cause of changes to our earth. It's simply egocentric to believe that. We have just been here for a few minutes, geologically speaking.

Goodbye Planet Earth. It's been a good 4.5 billion years. I'd hate to end it this way, but you know how it is.
Forlo12345 1 year ago
@Forlo12345 You see, Forlo, the planet will be a-okay. The planet has been here for 4.5 billion years and humanity, despite all of our bravado, can't change that. The only problem that we face is the simple fact of weather or not LIFE on planet earth will be sustainable within the next few hundred years or not. Humanity pretends to be above the natural kingdom, but if the food chain falls apart and vegetation begins to die off, we will go the way of the dinosaur. But earth will still be here.

BottlesAndKazooie 1 year ago
@BottlesAndKazooie There is no need to rub his face in it. We live and learn. We are supposed to encourage education. We aren't supposed to make people feel bad for not knowing certain things. That will just turn them off and they may end up going down a very long and troubling road.
nathanforst 1 year ago
@kansasisaband The earth is 4.5 billion years old, not 16.4 billion. The Universe isn't even that old.
