People shouldn't make excuses for Christina. Dancing is intense, its just not the choreographers they hired. If they both went into a danceoff doing the same routine, brit would totally destroy xtina. She just has it.

I think that Christina has dance moves that are club worthy, while Britney has dance moves that are choreography worthy, but both are good at each of their realms in dance. Christina is better at singing, while Britney is better at dancing for entertainment purposes.

Britney *used* to be the better dancer. Emphasis on used to. I loved watching her performances (Wade Robson and Brian Freidman are both genuis) but when I watched her Circus tour I was highly dissapointed. She is simply moving robotically around the stage. As a dancer who always enjoyed watching her, but she just doesn't have the fire anymore. Whereas we'll see Christina dance in Burlesque-then we'll compare. Not hating Brit-more just puzzled as to what happened.

Britney did have more of a powerful voice when she was younger. I think Jive trained it out of her with all the breathy singing she does now.

Xtina has the better voice but Britney is the much better dancer. And even before the Britney era when Britney barely ever lip-synced, she danced MUCH better than Xtina. There's a reason WHY many dance-oreintated performers lip-sync like Britney, Shakira, or Paula. Those are REAL and ATHLETIC dancers.
I don't think you can really compare, because Britney dances and lipsyncs. She has the ability to do more movements during shows so her videos will reflect that. Christina is more natural in her moves, and less rehearsed than Britney. The fact that Christina can dance that much and can sing very well for an entire show is impressive. It's all a matter of style. It's like trying to compare music genres. Doesn't really work.
Well, I don't really think Britney was ever a singer. She fits the pop-star image and career, sure, but I just don't think she was ever really a "music artist". And Christina does dance a fair amount, but lately her music hasn't lent itself much to dancing. Again, it's a style thing. As long as they're comfortable doing their own thing, who cares who's better?
Xtina doesn't dance. Aall she does is a little movement with her backup and move to the beat. That's NOT dancing. U might say that's the case cuz she's singing live but look at music video's. That also is NOT dancing. Xtina's a vocalist NOT a dancer or anywhere NEAR one. No training and has NO technique. REAL dancers have technique and don't look clumsy. I can't believe how someone would compare Xtina to Brit, who has been dancing her WHOLE life and actually HAS technique. Look at MATM.

You people realize it's literally impossible to move like Britney, & sing live like Christina at the same time right? Christina puts effort in her vocals, Britney puts on a visual piece. They both focus on different things they enjoy. I've yet to see christina dance off a routine like britney has, and I have yet to hear Britney sing live and sound as amazing as Christina, especially when moving around.
@TaraAshleyTWILIGHT21 lady gaga doesn't dance, she moves to well rehearsed choreography while singing live. She has a beautiful voice though, when she's on the piano her solo numbers sound amazing. Watch her performance of Alejandro live at American Idol. See how terrible she sounds and how boring her dance routine is. Not hating on her but when it comes to this subject, she's very basic.

and of course Christina is by far the better singer. Britney has a good voice, but in a MUCH different way. lol, Britney's voice is good for commericial music, while Christina has a very powerful and soulfull voice.
Britney did have more of a powerful voice when she was younger. I think Jive trained it out of her with all the breathy singing she does now.

Xtina has the better voice but Britney is the much better dancer. And even before the Britney era when Britney barely ever lip-synced, she danced MUCH better than Xtina. There's a reason WHY many dance-oreintated performers lip-sync like Britney, Shakira, or Paula. Those are REAL and ATHLETIC dancers.

I don't think you can really compare, because Britney dances and lipsyncs. She has the ability to do more movements during shows so her videos will reflect that. Christina is more natural in her moves, and less rehearsed than Britney. The fact that Christina can dance that much and can sing very well for an entire show is impressive. It's all a matter of style. It's like trying to compare music genres. Doesn't really work.

Well, I don't really think Britney was ever a singer. She fits the pop-star image and career, sure, but I just don't think she was ever really a "music artist". And Christina does dance a fair amount, but lately her music hasn't lent itself much to dancing. Again, it's a style thing. As long as they're comfortable doing their own thing, who cares who's better?

Xtina doesn't dance. Aall she does is a little movement with her backup and move to the beat. That's NOT dancing. U might say that's the case cuz she's singing live but look at music video's. That also is NOT dancing. Xtina's a vocalist NOT a dancer or anywhere NEAR one. No training and has NO technique. REAL dancers have technique and don't look clumsy. I can't believe how someone would compare Xtina to Brit, who has been dancing her WHOLE life and actually HAS technique. Look at MATM.

You people realize it's literally impossible to move like Britney, & sing live like Christina at the same time right? Christina puts effort in her vocals, Britney puts on a visual piece. They both focus on different things they enjoy. I've yet to see christina dance off a routine like britney has, and I have yet to hear Britney sing live and sound as amazing as Christina, especially when moving around.

Watch her performance of Alejandro live at American Idol. See how terrible she sounds and how boring her dance routine is. Not hating on her but when it comes to this subject, she's very basic.
