maybe you know this but Bolvar Fordragon is now the new Lich King. but if Arthas was the Lich King (not Ner'zul or the little boy).is Bolvar Fordragon now Arthis/Bolvar or only Bolvar.what do you think?
@1huros1 im pretty sure its just bolvar, because Arthas died while he was talking to his fathers spirit, and Arthas said that he pretty much regretted what he had done, so i dont think his spirt was bound to the lich kings crown, much like what ner'zul had done.
@1huros1 the book is slightly canon to the lore in some parts, if nerzhul died then the lich king would become mortal and bolvar wouldn't have had to sacrifice his soul to ner'zhul because without ner'zhul theres no lich king. nerzhul is practicly a tortured soul and thus he cannot be slain as he is shackled to the lich kings arrmour, the only way to destroy nerzhul is to free his spirit which would take alot of holy magic or by destroying the armour and let his soul roam azeroth.

theyre building up to the raid, theres been ulduar and now the trial of the champions where theyre preparing and building resources for the big push on icecrown. anyway i think maybe he will sacrifice himself at the end, they will have to make him "defeatable" and him joining the alliance, he wouldnt be allowed if you imagine the prejudice against death knights now.
He 'kills' (or apparently banishes, because we meet the kid on the game, and who finnaly kill him is Highlord Tirion Fordring because he destroy is heart) Matthias from himself, within his own mind/dreams. After which, he slaughters Ner'zhul--and announces that without any remnants of his humanity to stay his will, or 'a tutor' (Ner'zhul) trying to guide him, he is in full control of his actions, and can do what he wants..which is when the WotLK intro starts.
dude, you should come back to wow - get to 80 and ther is the culling of strathholm and you can be one of the humans that actually fought as they were trying to save strathholm from the plague!
Wow, hard core, that actually BEATS the battle for Orgrimmar.

There is actually a Quest line in WOTLK where you meet arthas's good side, and he tells you his story on how he became evil. Tirion Fordring, the new ashbringer, later finds that shard, but is unable to use it to redeem Arthas, thus it had to be destroyed.
You also meet Arthas in the spirit realm a few times, claiming his experinces as a Shaman aided to do so.
Wait, so if Arthas has forever become the 'Lich King'. Does that mean Arthas is with Bolvar instead of Ner'Zhul?
