  • I didn't even know that they had a USA version... All I know is Red Dwarf was AWESOME! And the BBC Being Human is 100x Better then the SYFY one! Just sayin ol' chaps.

  • @divinebadboyharry - Yeah, the USA version was not good. They only had a pilot, and everything was changed and it was so stupid. I still don't understand why they can't just show the original in the USA. People are missing out! But they better not try to make an American version again, because people over here will say that it's better than the original one when it really isn't just because they saw that one first.

  • No it wasn't you dick. That's the actual dialogue from the show.

  • i love this episode

i watched it the other day

sir are you absolutely sure? it does mean changing the bulb XD

  • lol

  • sir are you sure it does mean changing the bulb LOL!

  • original joke was "Step up the alert from Orange Alert to Red Alert" "Are you sure sir? It does mean changing the bulb"

  • 1 month since the last comment!

Ur all nerds. Me too, a little.

I am watching this Red Dwarf cartoon after all.

    That was a kick-ass show.

  • You cant squeeze any more out of the Red Dwarf franchise im afraid.

If series 7 and 8 were like flogging a dead horse then this is surely akin to attempting dressage with said deceased animal.

  • Firstly, I agree with you totally and let me take this opportunity to say what a wonderful person you are.

Secondly, why would anyone pay for a 'mobisode' when you could buy the DVD, rip each episode to your pc and watch them in normal quality downloaded to your phone? Ive done it, and im a complete idiot.

  • Never write something like that. Proverbial chartered accountants who dreamed of being a lion tamer only to have their dreams squashed so they go on to run major Hollywood studios might consider it a challenge worth tanking you up on.

  • Yeah but if theyre only proverbial chartered accountants then they dont really exist. Besides im ace at dead horse dressage and theyll never beat me, even with their fancy haircuts and Hollywood special effects.

Having said that, I actually wouldnt mind getting tanked up with an ex lion tamer, even if it was only a dream.

  • The "tanking" was a typoe I didn't spot. Though considering that I've been reading up about some of the "Craft Breweries" here in Texas ...

Anyway, it was supposed to have been "taking" ... because if there's anything films like "Batman Forever", "Highlander 2" and the "Dukes of Hazzard Movie" should teach us is that Hollywood thrives on flogging horses — both living and dead.

  • Just as well then that this is an English comedy created 5290 miles away from Hollywood.

  • Amen!

At least they have to endure a loooong flight before they muck up something else....

  • ACE, red dwarf is one of the best British shows every made, wish they did more! To any of you who post bad comments, why did u watch it in the beginning-probs americans with no sense of humour, just go back to ur family guy or [scrubs]. Rodger.

  • nvm

  • americans wouldnt know humour if it kicked them in the balls ! (nor would any one not from britain for that matter)

  • what

  • One of my all-time favorite lines... :)

  • define american:

obese lazy cunts with no sense of humour...

  • ...With a Mcdonalds fetish...

    ...And an idiotic president...

    ...And 4Kids...

  • xenophobia, actually.

  • who steal our langauge cars cartoons shows money ideas people etc

in short you americans are all rednecked cunts

  • exactly.

  • My god what a complete waste of time that was for me to watch for thirty seconds, never mind the effort that must have gone into making it. Are people actually paying for this abomination? Why don't the makers of Red Dwarf just release "mobisode" edits of the original clips?

  • @feckingbillgates This piece of shit got rated top comment? Pathetic...

  • @FalseImpressionist75 Congratulations on managing to rise above replying.

  • @feckingbillgates Congratulations on making an absolutely worthless responce, I think I will go and masturbate now.

  • Lol, whatever. Before you make fun of something you don't like, be sure you can do better. I'd like to see you do stand up. Get a brain and realise that British people and american people have different senses of humour. I'm not saying Americans aren't funny, because there are some genuinely funny american comedians out there. There are also british ones, so wake up and smell the coffee.

  • Correction americans (shitty sense of humor) and the rest of the world have different sense of humor.

  • Please spellcheck before you rant; to avoid looking like an uneducated idiot.

Your opinions, regardless of them being valid or not, aren't getting through to people because all they see is gibberish. Thanks,

  • My motto as a writer is: "The last edit you do is one edit too few."

  • My motto as an editor is: "Your only as good as your last work"

  • I have but one question for you: How many Burberry (fake of course) caps do you own?

  • the original with all the characters is still the best isn't it ?

  • get lost smeghead! the british r the best!

  • well at least we don't elect celebrity actors for our governors. no affence but anything america can do we british can do better. and, no I was not brainwashed!

  • You're a moron. You cannot spell either

  • oh yeah?well at least the british 'original'red dwarf was WAY better than red dwarf USA.the original has millions of fans whilst the usa one had what, five fans?

DONT call brits boring!i hate stereotypes.

  • Red dwarf usa? Never herd of it

  • probably beacause it was so rubbish.

and it was called white dwarf cause the cast were all white.only one member of the cast was good and that was the woman who played holly.but its only because she was in fraiser.

  • @flibble3333

    *frasier

  • @flibble3333 It was not called WHITE DWARF, it was Red Dwarf and it wasn't a terrible show, I didn't like it after seeing the original for so many years, but it would have still been something new and fresh to people that had never seen the original. The jokes we all had seen performed differently and were used to them that way. Like a band doing a cover, if you know the original you like it better, if you only know the cover you like it better. I think it's cool the US wanted a DWARF show.

  • @PizzaKrapp It was NICKNAMED White Dwarf.

And even if the US version was the first one for me to watch I still would not have liked it.The acting was horrific, the intro looked atrocious and the casting was entirely wrong - Lister was meant to be a slob with zero hygiene.Instead we got a guy who looked like he had walked straight out of Baywatch. The actor himself even admitted the casting was wrong.

  • @PizzaKrapp And when it was shown to American test audiences it flopped worse than more shows did. Audiences didn't get it even though the comedy was "adapted" to US audiences. All tv shows do this and if the test audience doesn't like it the show is canned. American broadcasters just wanted to cash in on the incredible success of the show. They failed. To most fans the US versions never even existed/

  • @spacecowboy5000 I believe I saw episodes on tv when I was younger in the early 90's with the UK cast. I know this because Kryten and Lister remained in my memory for years, and it wasn't until a few years back I looked it up and I am a complete smegging fan now. I'm an American and I love british comedy, and Red Dwarf is my favorite show of all time. I saw a bit of the U.S. version...not so great IMO. I'd bone U.S.'s Cat, other than that UK version is epic.

  • And in america, anyone that knows enogh about politcs can become a govenor. Not just someone that was elected just because the gverment sed so.

  • british comedy is subtle. This Zanz fool says on his profile "Transfomers and Tomb raider are my favrot action fliks." so his taste is immediately discredited. You spell offence with an a f f e n s. I suspect the best part of you dried on your mother's thigh.

  • shut up rednek idiot!

  • Fan-Smegging-Tastic ! .

Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ]

  • Brilliant.

  • That's not bad. Short but sweet.

  • So they just animate scenes from the series? And people pay £3 a week for it? ...Hm...

  • yay! that is soooooo sweet!!!

  • they could make season 9 in this style i wouldnt mind

  • personally i would prefer a better animated style. but a 9th series will alway be a dream of mine

  • that's pretty sweet... I want it and more!

  • I Love it!!! Give me More!
