what items are you using to have those stats at that level in the normal castle ..

im using josephs cloak diamond mail holy sword att gauntlets holy glasses herald shield .. i got like 41 attack and 27 defense at level 27 ..

are you using potion items to jack up your attack ??

i could understand the attack if you were using a two handed weapon .. but then how did you get your defense that high if you did ..

im at 96.5% done with normal castle .. so ive found most ..

Omg, I was doing this perfectly and it wasn't working. I was like, "WTF!?" And then I figured out that after one gear clicked and I would move onto the next one, my fucking sword familiar would accidentally hit it again:PP

so i did this and it still has opened for me (in the regular castle)...then i tried doing it so that they all stop on the click, without going over it...and still doesnt work.

anyone else besides me always having no luck getting any of the gears to click with the Crissaegrim? Been stuck at the one part for a couple of years, even went on to beat the rest of the game and everything but this part is just aaargh

The same, attack all 4 gears until you hear the click sound on all gears.

I tried it, I did it in the normal castle, but in the inverted castle it doesn't work!
