I don't use amps. I don't own any amps and I don't like them. I'm using a BOSS GT-6 FX processor going straight into the computer. It has amp simulators in it. I'm using the "Metal Zone" preset with chorus cranked up full. I use it in gigs too, plugged straight into the P.A

right well dude,the thing i dont get is, when you plug ur pedal n stuff via a line in, how do u hear it? do u just hear the distortion through your speakers, and if so, how do you adjust the sound of the distortion? cuz when u have background music in ur speakers, the volume is generally louder, do u just increase the sound on the pedal?
