  • I'm currently assembling such car. Can you tell me how did you make standard corolla tahometer work with 4agze signal? (as i know there is some device that can convert the signal but i'm still searching for some hints/ info)

Thanks in advance for any info,

  • Usle audi a3 kan ikke hamle op med gt power

  • solstice gxp will rape this japcrap

  • except no one cares because the corolla is at least 20 years old...

  • and no one cares about a solstice gxp...

  • funny you say that truenodude, considering your name. why do you compare a 20yr old corolla to a much higher class? that corolla must be that good right? lol.

  • 20 years later the corolla is still a cult car....in 20 years the solstice will be in a junk yard like most american cars

  • i reckon you would have this one poggy!!! yours is still the hatch to catch

  • anyone know if you can chuck a supercharger on a 4AGE?? I heard you could....

  • yea very easy to do that but ul end up melting ur high compression pistons in the standard 4age.

  • talasas is right on the money.

  • Sweet car, I have a 4AGZE smallport AE102...still my fav, I got an Integra Type R and Skyline 350GT, and I still love the sound of the SC.

  • nice fx-16, mines only an 4age non supercharged unlike yours

  • i love old toyota motors=)

  • hhhhhhhmmmmmmmm

  • 4agze is great I own one

  • you do?! lucky bastard...wait, theres 2 versions of that engine, is it the one with 195 hp@ 9500 RPM or is it the one with 240 hp@ 11,000 RPM?

  • I've never seen either, I think you need to do more research. No 4A engine does 11,000 rpm stock.

  • the TRD Formula Atlantic 4A-GZE isn't stock, though. the 11,000 rpm version is a tuned version of the stock one, but both can be bought. easy: 4A-GZE= Corolla AE111 engine

  • The 4A-GZE is a supercharged variant of the 4A-GE and both the 4A-GE and 4A-GZE came in AW11, AE92 and AE101 models. The AE111 only had the 4AGE. The ex-Formula Atlantic 4A-GE varied in power (early models had carbs, then later TRD EFI) but yes they did rev quite high. However I wouldn't say you can get one easy nor cheap, the last time I saw one for sale it was USD$25,000 - not worth it when you can build something similar for a lot less.

  • no no no, i didnt say it could be bought easily, i said

easy in the sense of easy to understand, but now i see your point, i get those two mixed up from time to time. all i know is that one of them has an 11,000 rpm redline while naturally aspirated. oh well, my mistake

  • haha your such a tard

  • theres 2 different types early 1987 to 1991 which is 7500 rpm makes 145hp and a 1991 to 1994 revs to 8000rpm and makes 170hp

  • what a machine guys like my mates one watch the videos :) i got em up

  • Hi topperakista...

The silver car that the 4AGZE beats is an Audi TT (225 bhp)... Is that the one you were uncertain about?

  • Hell Yeah!!! Was that a Porsche the 4agz just beat?
