  • Formed in 1970, in the wake of the first Winter Consort. Made amazing music right from the get go in album after album. Lost Collin Wolcott to a car accident in 1984, yet somehow kept on going. Found Mark Walker in 1995 ... and 40+ years after their first notes together, Oregon still makes some of the damnedest music I have EVER heard!

Thanks to Ralph, Paul, Glenn, Collin and Mark and the magic they continue create together.

  • I feel a lot better for listening to this. Thank you.

    Colin on Tabla.

  • Just noticed by watching video how important is Glen Moore's contribution. Sure I love his performance on all the Oregon works, but the video captures it so well. Just two notes from that bass and the music is propelled forward. superb performance by all.

  • is this on DVD?

  • so nice !....です.

  • Muchas gracias por todos estos años de musica maravillosa

  • To think that Ralph Towner is 69 years old. Damn.

  • Music keeps you younger...!

  • Vintage Oregon sound. These are simply tremendous artists and have long been one of my favorite bands. Great song and I just purchased the CD!

  • I've been a fan since I purchased Solstace by Towner back in '75 and I have a nice stack of their vinyl and CD's now. Met Paul, Glen and Collin at Town Hall in N.Y. when they supported an artist named Rachel (can't remember the last name now) and Paul played with Sandip Berman at the Skirball here in LA. They're playing this coming April at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. Fabulous artistry and musicianship.

  • I just knew Oregon from their albums

I remember some of the songs, Sail, Yellow Bell, the Silence of a Candle

    Great music

    Thanks for posting this

  • Very beautiful and peaceful music. I have seen the group in a smalltown in Germany too (Aachen) more than 10 years ago and there is no aging but only gain of maturity in their music.

  • thanks for this inspired tune,, these guys were too much..

  • These guys are amazing. They came to my hometown of Bakersfield a few years ago and sad to say that we only had about 200 show up. Bakersfield is not very supportive of the arts. oregon blew me away. Thanks for posting.

  • Twenty years ago this year -- I spent an afternoon hanging out with Paul McCandless. A precious memory. Thanks for this, and bringing it back.

  • thank you! a grateful taken favorit - I wonder, already second? great musicians! some years ago I listened to them in an intimate hall near my hometown (German) - we were lucky: they did not refuse our province town. :-)
