My only problem with this scene is this...if the genders were reversed, it would be immediately rejected (for the record, I'm a woman).

Would Miranda ever say to three of Steve's friends: "You guys are his best friends (straight men would never talk about being each other's loves), and I'm just lucky to come in fourth"? Heck no! She'd have a fit at the very idea of having to say that.

If they had just replaced that one line....

Samantha is a hoot. She has her opinion and isn't afraid to express it - probably a quality that is good and bad.

And I love how Miranda was quiet and the other two spoke. I don't know about anyone else but sometimes I feel like Miranda and Carrie are the closest out of the bunch.

@lightsnow123 LOL! Exactly! Char has this wide eyed innocense and the part where Big walks into the diner says it perfectly. Char is the only one who smiles while Samantha and Miranda give Big that "Mmmhmm" look.

i love how miranda never told big that carrie called her and said she can't stop thinking about big. she just said "go get our girl". it's true what samantha said in the movie at the wedding rehearsal, in their group they never spill secrets

I love that part when Samantha says "I would!" right after Charlotte says "I wouldn't say that." Ha Ha! Samantha is awesome & that moment was priceless!!!

i think why this is one of our favorite scenes is that those girls is a family, and when Miranda said "go get our girl", it kinda represented that Big got approval to date Carrie from the family

I was never really a Big fan -- I'm an Aidan girl myself. But even I have to admit that this scene is so perfect and I was rooting for Big to find her. The fact that he would drop everything to go look for her is proof that it's true love. :)

it could have any of the girls to say the line, "Go get our girl", but that they chose Miranda, the most cynical of the group who had everything negative to say about Big to be the one to say the line makes it that more poignant. Beautifully scripted.

this sums up alot for those that may have seen the movie and not the series..in one line, Miranda says it all..and in his line, "A guy is lucky to come in fourth" is priceless..I love this scene..besides of course the ending (which is the BEST) this to me is one of the best scenes in the series..
