On the first run, the turbo lagged but I could tell the second he rev'ed up before "go" to compensate. So if you were trying to prove something, there are too many variables between the runs to make a hard fact. I would like to see them go from a stop.

@Pariah806 same mate, not as an argument but more to show the merits of each one, old days it was clear cut, s/c= low to mid turbo=mid to hig, but nowadays you have to know whats in them with variable vane turbos, and s/c's that have 2 different gear ratios, would love to know exactly whats in them, and how they fair against each other, i reackon a mile long drag would show the differences!

@504deeznuts swap the motor for a 2jg gte its the turboed version of your motor, if you get a swap get it from a supra mk4 they got more agreesive cams and rear sump oil pan, better then the aristo 2jz gte, hope this helps.

I have a turbo vtec and I'm perty sure I could beat both of these cars. My turbo has an upgraded intercooler and speed fast. I beat is300 all the time by 1000. My car is nice compared to these mexican cars. You are dumb if you think this is fast. Try having 150 horse powers in a civic with a turbo then you will know.

Ok so here is the real and True story of this video. Since I made it over 4 years ago, and I have since sold the car, I can divulge the real story of this race.

1st and foremost, the Silver IS does not have N20!!! its never had it to my knowledge and the owner is a close real life friend of mine.

1st race I sand bagged it. Gotta make it look good for the cameras. :) Yellow IS was running 530rwhp and the Silver IS was running 325rwhp. That video was more of a spoof than a race.

@sr1710nx exactly, thats what i dont understand, of course that turbo will kick a LOT faster than the supercharger, its already got atleast 2000RPM worth of exhaust gar runnin through it. if the downshift and pace probably 3000 RPM. Dead stop that supercharger will take it, aleast off the line which may be all that counts
