i believe in teaching kids self defense as well to build strong character so they have confidense to do the right thing and boxing is the most understood street defense there is which makes it easier to teach and use effectively my teacher also teaches the art of boxing and closing distance so i like what you do

I saw in a video that aikido isn't a sport, because it can't be. Aikido is totally defensive with no kicks and rarely any strikes. It's simply using the opponent's force against him/her. Almost exclusive to throws and joint locks. Neither system (traditional), nor sport (non-combative).

Aikido or Kalari? Kalari looks a lot like Kung Fu.. as for Aikido, it focuses on whatever is available.. strikes to vital points, face rakes, eye gouging, etc.. whatever.. all depends on how you train. I train for everybody, ever style, anywhere.
Yeah in a way.. Japanese JJ has plenty of grappling.. it's where Judo comes from. BJJ is just all ground work, hence why it became more dominant in the sports world.. is a complete system? Hell no.. just learning to control on the ground is dangerous.. I can gouge an eye, break a finger quicker than somebody can armbar me.. I dunno.. it's never what you train, it's HOW you train.
And that's the difference between a style and a system...BJJ deals more than just grappling. And it includes all styles in a practical-economic manner...and not just "mixed".

There is absolutely nothing about Aikido whereby you could deem it a sport. You cannot have an 'Aikido match' or anything of the like. And as far as I know, Kalaripayattu and Pankration are the oldest martial arts in terms of developement.. obviously punching, kicking, and grappling existed since the beginning in a very raw form.

You are taller with a longer reach and can keep people at bay multiple people as you have displayed. I saw in a video that aikido isn't a sport, because it can't be. Aikido is totally defensive with no kicks and rarely any strikes. It's simply using the opponent's force against him/her. Almost exclusive to throws and joint locks. Neither system (traditional), nor sport (non-combative).

Yeah in a way.. Japanese JJ has plenty of grappling.. it's where Judo comes from. BJJ is just all ground work, hence why it became more dominant in the sports world.. is a complete system? There is absolutely nothing about Aikido whereby you could deem it a sport. You cannot have an 'Aikido match' or anything of the like. And as far as I know, Kalaripayattu and Pankration are the oldest martial arts in terms of developement.. obviously punching, kicking, and grappling existed since the beginning in a very raw form.

Lyte is shorter with a shorter reach he may need to depend on footwork since most people will have a longer reach than him. You are taller with a longer reach and can keep people at bay multiple people as you have displayed. Still the best 52 Blocks I've seen thus far. Reminds me of the old school . Look at how natural the movements are then compare them to the others. I'm not saying the others don't know it/ I'm not saying they do. I'm just saying you can tell who has it down to second nature and that"s Mr52.

rayvictory , the science behind lyte and maoshan is this..Lyte threw 3 and a half punches with his head down and his eyes closed and then he (lyte) went in for the grab..It was evident that both fighters was scared to death but lyte got lucky and was able to bring M down. 52 blocks does'nt teach you to fight with your head down and your eyes closed..I understand because Lyte told me a long time ago that he did'nt really believe that 52 blocks was effective....

That makes no sense... why would he support 52 blocks or try to promote it if he didn't believe it worked? ...awthough he did not seem like he used it against M. He just straight out fighting w/ a hope to win it seems.

Strange, I learned a little boxing, muay thai, kyokushin, and kungfu and I blend them together. It looks similar to what you're doing except for I also have kicks and knees. I see a strong boxing, kungfu, and dancing influence in your art. I like your style. Your art is very effective at defense. If people underestimate your art, they will get dropped.
