i think its cool that they actually put out an amp with his early solid state sound and wild EQ curve. The warhead didnt sound as good as the RG or the Century either way you went you still had to EQ the shit out of it.

Dont Forget, Dimbag didn't use tube amps until only very shortly before his death, and even then They weren't the Krankenstein as we know it today, they were modified Revs. The Dime amp is basically a reissue of the Randall RG100ES/HT Heads and Preamps which were pure solid state (No Tubes or tube simulation) I prefer tubes myself, but solid state has its uses.

Oh yeah. Mids bring your tone to life and it helps you cut through. I figured that the reason someone would try this amp would be to get his tone. I just get really disappointed with Dean. But yeah. I like the JB for switching between genres. I have the Dave Mustaine signature actives. They are just active versions of the JB and the Jazz. When I read your comment I just thought..."
