  • Like you'd think just out of curiosity on such a crazy story would check out the company. Plus it really does sound like bullshit. I mean some lil piss ant teenager hacks into their system & they want to give him a bunch of money. Like if you had a security force guarding ur mansion & someone managed to rob you, ur not gunna be like oh we must find this thief & thank him for exposing my security weaknesses

  • So they said at one point he was on the fact checking team for all the stories so he knew the process which is how he got away with so much. But still it makes you wonder like how lax is their damn process anyway. Like some stories were 100% bogus, like the one he got caught on; the hacker kid, the conference, the agent, the whole company. All made up, yet all easily verifiable things. So it begs the question what at all did they double check before they printed the story

  • sooooooo steve glass a known evil pathological liar is going to become a lawyer ..lol new york will hire him as a public defender ..lol dont worry little stevie the entire evil lying corparate whore mainstream media is with you. just 10 short years later they got exposed with you fabracating and telling evil lies to the american public.

  • @tauras88d Hahaha, I too read about the fraud's ordeal trying to become an attorney. Says all you need to know about the American legal profession. Yes, there truly are people who'd testify in support of the fraud Glass taking his penchant for lying to the court-room. But then again, I can't believe how master con-artist Jason Leopold of the TruthOut blog is allowed to have a career in journalism either. Can you believe Google endorses the fraud Jason Leopold?

  • @mariatechnosux well yeah i can belive an endorsement for that pathological peice of fraud shit jason leopold because he resides under the establishment unbrella with the rest of the deluted media types. as long as they can evil lie with a gleem in their eye and decive the public they get establishment portection and support. but we are now at the stage were the old corparate whore media is a dead and dying and nobody is buying their deception, everybody gets brutal truth thru net media.

  • @tauras88d I agree with you, the problem is, they use these con-artists like Jason Leopold to deceive the public into thinking they are getting the "TruthOut". If it's endorsed by Google, it's endorsed by the mainstream and you shouldn't trust it as the truth. And if con-artist Glass is allowed to become a lawyer by the Cal State Bar, mark my words, Google will invite Glass for a talk and film the occasion, same way Google did with sociopath Jason Leopold. Google likes to lionize such frauds.

  • Listen to his interviews, he can not say that he is at fault and turns himself into a victim.

  • I don't get it.. I do what this guy does on a daily basis.. Hmmm..

  • Of course, the Ian Restil story make no sense. Why would a computer hacker demand lifetime subscriptions to Playboy and Penthouse? He could view all the filth he wants on the Internet.

  • At 8:25 you say that you could find screen caps of the website AS WELL. Does this mean that you have heard the tapes of the conversations between Forbes and TNR, since that was what you were talking about before?

  • ...it's uh, really silly, I know. I'm not even sure if I'm gonna finish it.

  • Nice job compiling all this! Very interesting!

  • Thanks for sharing. Granted, in movies, poetic license is taken for dramatic effect, and length as you so note, but it is nice to see someone substantiate to what degree it is done.

  • Big props on posting this guys. "I-I didn't do anything wrong Chuck"! "I really wish you'd stop saying that!!"

  • Journalism is mixed in with opinions so often its not hard to see how a staunchly political magazine could stand by a reporter just because his views agreed with the views of many of the editors at the magazine.
