Wouldn't it be easier to simply siphon a bit of petrol from the fuel tank and use it to fire a single-burner, multi-fuel backpacking stove? At least the stove wouldn't vibrate and would pollute less for the same amount of fuel burn. Anyway, as noisy as that engine is, there's probably no wildlife, let alone bears, to be found within half a mile.
THE chips? well they go in the oil tank! must change out the 20/50 for vegi oil though, LOL! too bad I have to throw back the big ones that won't fit on the pipe.
Tape it down and go for a thrash!
