  • whats the real name of this type engime before it was thomas not the railroad name the class engine name

  • @grizzleybearz282004 -It's an H. K. Porter 0-6-0, built 1917. ex Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal #15 (New York).

  • @BaltimoreAndOhioRR the trains name is thomas

  • My 21 month old son Loved this video!! I think the real train noises were a highlight for him! he is sitting here going ch ch ch ch through his nose imitating(SP) the sounds! Thank You!

  • @alkieiitlt -You're welcome! Glad I gave him some fun!

  • Why does the train have pistons by the sides?, The thomas in the TV show and books don't.

  • @BrickBlaster5000 - this train wasn't built as an exact copy of thomas, it spent most of its life as a real, working steam engine. after it was retired, it was fixed up and made to look like thomas as much as possible, since it was such a similar design.

  • @BrickBlaster5000 it might have just been an easier design. the real engine had pistons underneath the loco. and they probably couldnt have found the exact model engine and the type of engine he is in a UK engine. not an american engine. must have just been cheaper and easier. i too wish it was the original engine design tho :/

  • And the 'Thomas' that we're going to ride this fall is 3/4 that size and diesel... : ( Even my 3 y/o know the difference!
