  • i absolutely love the way you sign :) the emotion behind it brings the meaning across so well.

  • I love your interpretation of this song. Recently, I have begun interpreting songs again and this was a requested song. Your interpretation has helped me greatly. Thank you.

  • my brother I can watch you do this song asl over and over you're awesome with it and I love this song!! God bless you

  • Like Half 'n Half (the CODA duo who do storytelling in song... "song-telling", you don't mouth the English words or try to emulate a singer singing the song, but rather, you tell the story, beautifully, powerfully, and as a dude (smile). Signing since I was a kid, and interpreting for about two decades more than you've been alive - these days in court and VRS - and I enjoy this (don't usually like sign-singing). I like song-telling (not a word, but should be for what you do). Just great!

  • @signlaw Thank you very much!

  • I greatly appreciate that you did this song. It's been one of my favorite songs since I was a child. As a young child, I strayed from the path. Now that I'm getting a bit older, I've got back into church and play with the praise team. I'm so glad I found God again.

Also, I don't want to sound rude. But, I must ask, are you mute? Or do you just enjoy doing this for others?

  • I totally felt your emotion when you were doing this song!!! this is also one of my favorite songs!!!!! God Bless!!!!

  • Thanks so much for interpreting one of my all time favorites. this was one of the first christian songs i started listening to when i got back into church and now you made a beautiful interpretation of it. hope you have a wonderful day :)

  • Ok, I was just curious. Yes, my dad, even though he has been signing for 30 years, still learns signs every once in a while. I will definitely continue to persue ASL as I want to become an interpreter as soon as I graduate High School. Thanks!

  • So, I totally love your interpretation of this song. I am only 15, and am in the process of learning sign language. I am in ASL 1, but as the school year is ending, I am almost finished with the class. I am super interested in ASL and am passing my class with a 100. My teacher is deaf, and my dad is an interpreter so I have alot of help. :) I just wanted to know, (I didn't read all the comments so if you already answered this question, sorry) do you sign fluently, or are you still learning?

  • @amrebl i'm not completely fluent, but i'm close. i'm still learning mostly, but even once you become "fluent", there are always new signs based on how old a sign is or the area of the country your in. Glad you like the videos! Keep persuing ASL!

  • I like your emotion in all the songs you do. The signs you use are fairly easy to follow (Im trying learn some songs for the church camp I will be working at this summer). Im glad you desided to post these songs, and I hope go far in life with your amazing gift!

  • beautiful!

  • You are cute!

  • very touching :) thanks for the extra smile today :)

  • you did such a good job i am really impressed!! ASL is something i so badly want to learn and i want to go to school to learn it!

  • well done love! God bless!

  • Amazing and adorable!! Don't worry about people that are rude.. we have videos of our CHILDREN on here and people leave hateful comments as well. Keep doing what you're doing, would love to see more videos from you!!

  • This was our wedding song and since I am learning sign (wih my 4-yr old), I looked it up here. It brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing your talent. We are now some of your biggest fans and truly appreciate your videos. May God continue to bless you.

  • I would love to learn how to do this, I used to be in a ministering group called the Radical remnant, and we did ASL to gospel songs. It's so powerful. I loved doing it and would love to get back into it, I remember some from "Now behold the Lamb" , "Redeemer" and "Sanctuary" By kirk Franklin. I would love to teach Redeemer to the youth at my church and us perform it for Easter Sunday. I would greatly appreciate if you would do a video of redeemer for me, Thanks!!

  • YOU are truly one of GOD's gifts sent down from HEAVEN tttttttt

  • Teaching the deaf is my major! I love the video! It was beautifully done!

  • awesome beautiful signs and keep it up for the Lord THUMB UP!!

  • GREAT job!!! i love this song but this is the first time I see this video, It looks s0 c000l!!!

  • Job well done, I am a lover and a follower of Christ our Lord. I am also taking interpreting at my college and is very inspired by your videos. I believe the Lord is taking us down similar paths, in terms of our hearts for these precious souls in Sign language and Spoken language. Remember that the Pharisees criticized and judged every move Jesus made. So be strong in the Lord and continue in your hard work for the Lord.

  • Can you try Casting Crowns "At your feet"????? Would love to see it. I'm working on it myself

  • thank you so much. i have CP and i used to know sign very well but like anything if you don't practice you will eventually forget how to do what ever you are good with. i am trying to learn worship songs, because that will give me other way to communicate with Jesus.

  • Hey first of all I never comment on videos, never this is the first time for me, after I saw this I just had to U R so BLESSED WOW lol good job Awesome! I'm signing this song tomorrow for a ministry I'm starting I wanted to compare my interpretation with others u sign this just the way i did... more or less lol

  • when i see your signing this verse comes to my heart and mind... 1 Corinthians 6:20 ...Glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods. <3 i enjoy watching and feeling this union. <3

  • I loved how u were so into it the whole time. It was awesome

  • ktloveland: disregard all the mean comments you have gotten. I am not expert at sign but it's like you said it's for the purpose of the Deaf community to be able to understand what you are signing and that was beautiful I understood everything you signed and so did my friend who is Deaf she cried!! She would like us to do a duet together... we should :)

  • You've done an amazing job with this song! The song alone gives me chills and watching you sign the song only intensifies it. Thank you for sharing your gift!

  • Hi.. Your asl are very lovely. Keep it up!!

    Sister in Christ

    from Canada

  • I think you did a great job, when it comes to expressive signing, some things may not be exact, but close. Some deaf friends explained that expressive worked no different than having different beats to music... I was truly blessed by it and chances are I will be cheating of of your video for some of the signs. Thank for this.

  • Wow!!!! You're really AMAZING!!!! I'm hard of hearing myself but hear pretty well. I just started learning sign language before I graduated college and was CoPresident of the ASL Club at my school. I started to learn my second year of college. I did I can only imagine at my church and I want to do revelation song! But your I can only imagine is so much better more emotion felt! I love it!!! You have a gift!

  • This is so cool! I love this song and I think sign language is so cool.

    So great.

  • I love this song and the sign language makes it soo much more powerful. You did a WONDERFUL job.

  • This was the most moving and touching video. You seemed to feel the words of the song and u did it great justice and best of all, you honored God and really allowed him to use you.

  • Wow! Beautiful and inspiring! Thanks

  • I love it!!!

That is the first time sign language has ever made me cry...

    <3

    =')

  • Beautiful!

  • wow...that was wonderful to watch! God has truly blessed you! I'm a current ASL student, in my second semester actually. There is still soooo much for me to improve on....but that will come with time and practice. My dream is to do what you have done, I want to be a Sign Language interpreter. I want those who can't hear to still be blessed by song lyrics such as these. You are an inspiration! Thank you for sharing!

  • hey, ktloveland, thank you so much for this. My sister and I, using this sign language, performed this in front of our church yesterday. It was amazing! Thank you so much for doing this

  • U Were Great!!!

  • you are handsome, i like you

  • Comment removed

  • Dude that was awesome! I also like the prayer you left at the end! Great job! You could tell you were really believing and trying hard. JOB WELL DONE! Sorry for any bad spelling.

  • wow... thats all i can say. i think you did terrific. i could really tell that you put your heart and soul in it for god.

  • Wow GOD is using u in a wonderful way!!! and i like your face expressions i can tell that you do it with all your heart. Don't give up! MY G-O-D is B-I-G. God bless you!!

  • this is pure awesomeness

    thank you brother,

    Christ Reigns!

  • This video was really impressive, such emotion evoke and great placement. Job, well done! Have you ever thought in your interpretation to keep God in one place and have the different actions focus on that space but separated spatially? I think that would greatly color your interpretation.

    In Christ

  • no, what do u mean exactly?

  • In terms of placement of the chorus. Will I dance before you Jesus..awe of you be still.. dance in your presence... will I fall...be able to speak at all... Have you ever thought about keeping God in one, assigned place, then focus these actions towards that one place? It looks as if you are there are different people for each action. Many people mimic this spatial characteristic. Just something to pray over. Let me know if you want some ideas.

  • oh. ya. I know thats a way you can do it. but i think i was trying to show...Am I gonna do this or this one which? but ur right u could do it that way as well. Thanks for the constructive criticism!

  • in ASL, that is generally how it is done.

  • But the concept of this way is that you are, linguistically, setting up several different people, with an action directed at each person; however, the song and the intended meaning of the song suggests quite different. There is one person, God, and all of these actions are to be directed to that one person. So, I greatly disagree with you in terms of ASL doing it this way, because it doesn't, nor should it. This does not follow the semantics of ASL, nor does it follow conceptual accuracy.

  • ok dude...fine. If u don't agree with me thats great! You gave your criticism which i took and now u just won't let it go. So give it a rest.

I have several deaf friends who have told me that this song was well done and that they understood everything very clearly. That is the ultimate objective....People are way to focused on "ASL" or "SEE" or "PSE" or w/e...w/e happened to just making sure the deaf understand it?! So I respectfully disagree and wish you well. God Bless!

  • @ktloveland I think is is wonderful! Your signing is good, understandable, and your passion is obvious. Well done!

  • @ktloveland

I absolutely LOVE watching anything you interpret! You are truely praising God and I'm sure he is pleased. As for the comments about directional ASL, I don't necessarily agree with aloex. There are some deaf people also interpreting this song and they are all over the place (as is God!). In classes they tell you to do things a certain way, but that's just not how people always talk. So keep on doing what you're doing and I'll keep on watching.

  • when you sign God(I learned this from someone who majored in ASL in college)you establish who He is, then you establish where He is, and then keep referring back to that place, for God. the same with people. Establish who you're talking about and then you can refer back to that space for that person.

  • addicted to your videos. I LOVE ASL and I LOVE the lord, Thanks for sharing...these are a true blessing to many! I love and admire you passion! Have a great week and God Bless!

  • thank you very much! Means a lot to me! God Bless you as well!

  • dat was awesome!! and its so blessed! keep it up and keep it real for god!

  • i love watching you sign. i'm only in ASL2 but if i could give one word of advice i would try to sign smoother because it is music. i've done some songs for my church and that has been my experience so far. but i'm not meaning to critique - this was beautiful and amazing. keep it up. :)

  • What a wonderful way to praise God. Thank you for sharing your gifts with others.

  • Gosh, your expression is awesome! I'm a Sign Language teacher at Summer Camp in my church, and I'm teaching them how to sign Praise & Worship songs. The technique we are working on now is expression. I'm definitely showing them this video as reinforcement! :)

  • Beautiful!! I watched a few other videos but you sign/sign from the heart I could feel it! God bless you. And keep on signing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AMAZING! Great Job!!

  • thank you!

  • Love you dear, God bless you. I am trying to learn the sign language too. Keep on the good work.

  • that is so awesome!!! Awesome signing! :D

  • that is so beautiful! I really like your interpretation it is really easy to catch on to...as I myself is learning asl....

  • I love the video so very much you show so much emotion in your signing.

  • Thank you. I glad you enjoyed it. I just me trying to show God what is worthy of. Thank you for your support! God Bless!!

  • Great! love your expressions and signing! Beautiful, add more movement with your body and you will sore.

    God bless

  • More movement is not always better tho.

  • Awesome! Are all your videos about sign language?

  • Niceejob ,,

Umm do u really do ASL in regular basis? God bless you ,

you have been blessed .. -take care

  • what do you mean do i do ASL in regular basis? what do you mean necessarily?

  • I think the person meant if you use ASL in your daily life outside of youtube, whether you have to use it to communicate with someone(s)

  • lol...ok. I don't use it on a daily basis...no. I'm hearing so its not my first language or anything but I do have deaf friends who I obviously use it with. I do use it alot though.

  • awesum luv this song please do a tutorial

  • Kevin... this is your cousin, Chase, my grandma was Auntie Sharron. Im with Auntie Patty. She showed me your video, and i really like it. its pretty cool you can do all that stuff in ASL!!

  • I love this song and you do it beautifully, although I am sure you know that because you feel it as you sign it =) God Bless.

  • very goood. Loved it!!

  • I love how you sign one of my favorite songs. You did awsome!!!

  • Real good work on this song. this is one of my favorite songs to sign. ur signs were clear and ur facial expression were great.

real good transitions between "Will I dance for you Jesus or in awe of you be still Will I stand in your presence..." its good to see that u weren't just keeping in one place. again, good work.

  • Wow, great job Kevin. I really love this song....

Think you could get Mrs. Willmington to let you teach us this is class this semester? :)

    Have a good break :)

  • hey,

i might be able to teach this one. Just ask mrs willmington if i can teach yall. I think she will be more prone to let me if yall ask. lol. Thanks for the kind words! God Bless!!!! by the way...who is this?

  • Umm ok, I'll try to ask her, or email Mrs. Windsor about it or something. :)

And oh yeah, sorry, this is Amy (you probably don't actually know who I am haha). I was just surfing youtube last night and saw your video :)

  • lol...ok well, maybe i'll see you next time in class. You'll have to come up with me. If i can put ur name with ur face it will help me remember who u are. Have a great spring break! God Bless

  • Lol, ok will do. Though really, I don't know how you don't know who everyone in class is, there's only like... 50 of us. Lol, jk. I probably don't even know who half of the class is either. :)

    Enjoy your break :)

  • I'm trying to teach my youth group some signing and this is really helpful. Thanks!

  • Man i love this song, and you and a couple other signers have really inspired me to take up sign language as a minor in college, you can defiantly see that you feel the song with your heart and with your movement, and i love it, god bless and have a good day ^_^

  • awsome 2 i like this song cause its sad like me most of the time T_T and if ur reding this dont check my page i dont think ull like it k just giving u a heads up its nothing bout u its just something u wont like very much but this song is pro T_T btw ima listen 2 this song when im sad T_T wich is 2morrow and the next day and the next day and the next day and so on T_T

    peace

  • thank you for the kind words! but i pray that you are finding your true joy in Christ Jesus and not my videos. I'm happy that you enjoy my videos but i would be more satisfied if you surrendered your life to Christ. He is the only one who can truly remove your sadness!!

    God Bless!!

  • k thnx T_T and im gunna do wut u said and i hope it works cause no1 yet that iv meet can take this sadness away from me but ima do wut u said k and thnx 4 everything :,)

  • Really well done! Congrats!

  • I saw your comment on Ally's newest so I thought I'd check out your skills. I really like that you made certain to be clearly visible, there are many who don't. Great job and this is also a favorite song of mine.

    Peace

  • glad you enjoyed it! thank you. God Bless!

  • I just love suprises:/ lol. Love watching u perform. what college r u attending? I luv watching u perform. Do u have a myspace? OMG that's alot of questions. o by the way, this was so cool and funny, search on youtube (womanizer-sign language) dont know if u have seen but i thought is was awesome and funny.

  • I go to liberty university. its a private Christian university in VA. Largest christian university in the world. I don't use myspace. I did see womanizer in ASL and I actually didn't think it was that good! I think he is too focused on dancing than actually signing the song. It's more important to get the information out that to dance. There is also i diff. between interpretting and performing i just think he could make it a little more clear for a performance.

  • hey, what songs are u going to try to post next. Just wondering ;~)

  • haha...i actually like to hold everyone in suspence and sometimes i don't even know which ones i am gonna put up next its just w/e i feel like doing or w/e is easiest to do at that moment. But I do have one that is already recorded and im just waiting to edit it and then others that I am currectly working on. It's hard to put videos up to often and keep up with the daily grind of college.

  • Beautiful!

  • I've watched most of your videos and i just wanted to say that it is awsome what you're doing! God will truly bless you for not being scared to share the talent he has given you! I can tell you are truly on fire for god, which is amazing...keep up the good work, and God bless:)

  • wow, I didnt know young guys like you still exsisted! Love the songs, keep it up! Your family sounds proud of you!!!

  • Kev! You are the man!!!! I never stop being impressed by your talent. Thank you so very much for dedicating this one to us Aunts! I love being able to see you perform long distance. I am so very proud of you! Zivio,

    Aunt Bridget

P.S. Your cousin wants to know if you are taking requests. He wants "In my Father's House" (you know, the whole big yard to play football thing)

  • Thank you for continuing to bless me with your talent. I am soooo proud of you. Love you bunches. XXXOOO Mom
