  • what kind of effects do you feel at this depth?

while using all the correct gear and proper planning, do you still feel a lot of narc?

  • 2:26 that must be heavy! :O

  • noway they go 136 meter in a wetsuit!

  • Comment removed

  • Absolutely none of this was at 136 meters ! Just a couple of tec guys floating around in their bondage kits while buddies in the background contact the reef. Wow

  • at this level of diving, it's not even about the fishes.... YOU ARE THE FISH!!

  • Very soon..:):)

  • You KNOW things are going to go well when the first thing the guy does is unroll the DUCT TAPE!

  • yes OIJJ30 and you can get good dive stories and videos on the net too. try the myscubastory site. type myscubastory into google and its the first one

  • wtf how can you dive this deep? when i took my scuba certificate the maximum deph on the for a deep diver was 45 meters and you could only stay there for a couple of minutes... am i missing something here? :D

  • @TheSwekebab they are doing deco dives with multiple mixes. The limits you are referring to are recreational limits for no deco dives

  • yes correct MrCrzy, But there are also good dive stories and videos on the net too! Try the myscubastory site. Type myscubastory into google and its the first one!

  • Genuine questions from people who are actually interested in the mechanics of this type of dive are positve to read. I dont know the guys who made the video or dived, but they clearly conducted it well. They used suitable equipment, they took the necessary precautions in analysing & CLEARLY labelling their gases (one of, if not the most important things). Their level of preparedness and capability was shown by their positioning in the water, use & stowage of kit, & survival. Fact. Not opinion.

  • Technical diving may be a challange, but it really does suck all the fun out of diving.

I'd rather be looking around enjoying myself than looking at my multiple dive computers counting tenths of seconds.

  • @Sijani So damn right u r. And what's more you don't even have to go through the hole at dahab. Without scuba equipment you simply train like Mr. Trubridge did as long as necessary and gradually (!!!) gain more retentiveness and respect for this strange surrounding you're visiting. I swear it's a completely different but beautiful world of tranquillity.

  • LOL 1 tank is so heavy already, this guy is carrying 4?!

  • @HugeDeek hes carrying 6

  • @HugeDeek Maybe someone waiting for tank in the deep..... lol

  • shediver43 ..yea u can c more dive stories on google -type myscubastory into google and click on the first one I think

  • @dpo142 what was your bottom time on 136m? and how long was your total deco phase?

  • You guys are sharing a wonderful passion. Diver 4 life.

  • it doesnt look like you know how to swim with feet on..

  • Does this hole called blue hole cause it's so deep and you can see only blue with only the sun light?

  • @orthografe yes

  • I can put all of you to shame! I can dive 3 meters in a swimming pool without scuba gear :)

  • nice vid.

  • when i dive ive never enterd thru the surf is it nice i always do a backward roll from a rubber duckie as they call it

  • @younique90 i thought it was pronounced "dingie"

  • Красотища )))

  • i was there!

  • that's like 300 feet?

  • @WunderDoob 446 feet

  • Молодцы, ребята!!! Отлично отнырялись, удачи в дальнешем и, как говорится, чтоб кол-во заныров равнялось кол-ву подъёмов!

  • respect guys....gives me something to dream about:)

  • Awesome!

  • props on the video!

  • @IIPluto Try to dive even on the same depth, but firstly, try to to take out a head from your ass...

  • @dpo142

Oh...my head is certainly out of my ass.....that's why, I don't need to go 136m to prove how great I am.

You've gone to xxx meters. So???? What does it mean?? What's the big deal?

    Life goes on.

  • @dpo142 firstly? lol

  • @dpo142 u are a idiot! whats ur thrill nighaa! gangbanging or what, maby beat ur girlfriend...loool. u sandmonkey

  • @dpo142 Funny how morons who leave comments like IIPluto end up with suspended accounts huh?

  • @dpo142 i must admit it is rather pointless its all very macho diving deep im a diving instructor myself but cant see the need to go beyond 30 meters u wont see anything more if you go deeper anyway.

Its abit of bullshit and sumthing people get cuaght up in.

  • @stussyboys unless you are wreck diving. but i do agree, at the blue hole here, theres nothing past 50 meters- the depth of the arch here.

  • @stussyboys Don't talk such utter tripe. if you're diving instructotr I'm a china man - and I ain't a chinaman.

  • @dpsherry u must be a chinaman then, because the last time i checked im defintaly a diving instructor i dont quite get where u are coming from... is that so hard to believe hmmm your strange....

  • @IIPluto shutup you dumb racist nigger

  • @IIPluto I HOPE YOU DROWN... BROWN JEALOUS 3RD WORLDER

  • @IIPluto That's kind of messed up what you say. I don't see your uploaded videos of dangerous expeditions posted anywhere.

  • @IIPluto you are beyond stupid

  • Comment removed

  • @IIPluto Shut your fcuking mouth and stop commenting on stuff you have absolutely no clue about...

  • I'm sure you did. I hope my comment wasn't new information for any divers.

  • how deep would u say it is at 6:07? in feet

  • yeah kill yourself guy...

  • NOTOX-C

    Man

    C computer

  • that computer is the one that uses?

  • k... recreational divers beware!

Techdiver.... with the name techdiver you should be a little more aware of your surroundings. All of you should know that this is a tech dive, which is a mixed gas dive (helium, enriched air, and prob pure o2 for deco the last 20 ft.) safety stops, blah blah blah all go by the way side on a dive like this, Planning, and proper execution is key to making this dive safe. Computer is key, back up charts are mandatory if a computer fails. proper training is a must

  • @kma0818 Whatever, that Yuri guy made it all the way to 90 meters and... oh wait, nevermind.

  • Some interesting music......? >.>

  • For what they need computer?!?!?!

I never use a computer (except of doing fun dives).

I think a usual bottomtimer will do this job as well....

  • diving without a computer is like, car without wheels.you need a dive computer for multi purpose.

  • You don't need a computer. Just a bottom timer, your dive charts and pre-planning. Computers can run out of batteries, break or fail in some other way. Even if you have a computer you should be doing dive plans and know your bottom time limits.

  • no yaar,i feel suunto vyper (i dont have any complaint) is good, and uwatec smart tec,but its expensive at 800$

  • yo cool man so you are settled on which side of the pond? have you freedived ever? did you watch russian yuri lipski last dive video man its sent shivers down my spine.

  • do some research.

  • do some research ?

  • I didn't see any 136 metres. Shight.

  • why you use apeks and not poseidon reguletor ?? poseidon it s best than apeks or not ??

  • not.

  • u can't do nitrox this deep.. they were using trimixes and oxygen for deco.

6 tanks, 2 computers, and all that equip with a fun dive 2nd stage?

  • Video says the dive trip takes "140 minutes", just FYI

  • how much time do you have?

  • hloy shit. imagine how long it would take to come up from the depth. i'd guess at an hour. anyone no for sure?

  • How thin is the neoprene on that depth? like paper? :D

  • all nitrox?

  • No, you can't go below 34m on 32% Nitrox without it becoming toxic. It is most likely that trimix that is used at depth which contains helium. The Nitrox tank will be used only for decompression as the diver goes through safety stops above 34m.

  • sorry, i fail.. i post to wrong video.. that comment not for this video :)) sorry again.

  • So is that because, in a Nitrox tank the Nitrogen is less, and the oxygen in it can become toxic? and is that why they use Helium because it has no such potent effects??

  • Yes you are right on both accounts. Popular blends of Nitrox are EAN32 and EAN36 with the numbers being the percentage of oxygen in the mix. In breathing air Nitrogen is 78% but is reduced in Nitrox to 68% or 64%. 100% pure oxygen is toxic at around only 6m where it's partial pressure will exceed 1.6 bar (the critical limit). So the less oxygen in the mix the deeper you can go. Helium is less toxic and has little narcotic effect so it is used to decrease the Ni and O2 percentages.

  • hi vinylmerchant this is dimpu, you seem to have knowledge about scuba diving, can you tell me what is a SAFETY STOP in scuba diving? what if computer tells SAFETY STOP and i dont stop?

  • You risk getting decompression sickness. If you come up too quickly, excess nitrogen in your tissues can form bubbles (a bit like when you open a bottle of soda). The safety stop allows some more time for excess nitrogen in your body to dissipate and not bubble up when you surface.

  • @interruptor Yes we learned this in our Basic PADI training, thank you sir.

  • @Ermftw This was a reply to someone who asked. Someone who probably didn't do the Basic PADI.

  • A safety stop is a stop at 5 meters for 3 minutes. You should have learnt this in your open water course. If your computer is telling you to do a safety stop it's probably a good idea to do it if you have enough air.

  • yo thanx for tips buddy but i'm a amateur scuba diver/free diver.still i need to learn a lot.

  • damn 6 tanks.......

  • This is what i call HARD CORE diving....God bless you man...

  • your right!!!!!HARD CORE for live...god bless you.

  • Many thanks to the videographer for showing the testing and planning for this difficult decent and decompression dive. The several gas switches from travel gas to bottom gas then to deco gas. Bot an easy dive. One mistake and you will join the many that died there. A great video!!

    Большое спасибо.

  • the weight of equipment is about 130 kg...

  • Looks great and lookds like a lot of fun

and adventure... but i would rather stick with the recreational side of diving ^__^

  • Comment removed

  • Jesus, how can he even walk with all that weight. 6 tanks!

  • Damn, that was fun

  • yay duct tape!

  • Really well done, wish it would be longer and more detailed. I would like to suggest you to keep the real sound in the video.Personally I dont think Tech. Diving vids are about music :))

  • ditto.... incredible ..... but the music ...???

  • How mush time did the whole diving?

  • how much deco time do they have to do?

  • It would depend on their gas consumption, work load and gas mixes as well as the dive profile, that is how long at each depth. Download any dive planning software and play with the mixes and times. You will be amazed at the different times depending on what gas you blow down on. With my experience in diving (former SEAL), up to 4 hours hang time. I was impressed with their making sure they videoed them checking gasses.

  • I could never do this. So beautiful, but the thought of going that deep really scares me. Especially after seeing Yuri's video...

  • which video is that? Can you link it please

  • Just look up "Yuri Lipski" or "Blue Hole Tragedy"...

  • Okay, that video scared me for life. I wish I remained ignorant :).

  • If dpo142 is advocating anything it is diving with self preservation as a priority. The first minute of this video is dedicated to checking gases. Also it seems to emphasize that this is technical diving and not a simple OW single tank single gas dive.

OW divers should see this video following Yuri's video before receiving tanks when diving here.

  • underwaterfun1974 that may be so in your opinion. However, I beg to differ; to explore, discover and achieve are integrated in the human soul. With an attitude such as yours one may wonder why man ever sat on top of a horse when walking is a sufficient means of transportation.

This look like a great dive that was well planned and well executed by trained and experienced tec divers.

See their other videos if you think this was "Nice" . The Zenobia wreck dive is Awesome.

  • ...nice vid, though...

  • Anyway, I find it irresponsible to advocate deep-diving. Wtf do you expect to find at such dephts? The most interesting things are to be seen between 1 and 30 metres. There must be a real good reason to go deeper - maybe a wreck or something like that. But what is cool about stirring up mud in 136 m.???

  • Personally I think the most interesting stuff still remains to be seen in the depths not even any cutting edge technology cant explore completely.

  • IS he using a re-breather??

  • No its an open circuit dive. He only got a twin in his back and 4 bailouts.

  • u guys are so cool

  • russian divers using a metric system - so it was 136. That was one of my first deep dive experience, that is whay I populate it in e-space. :)))),

  • @dpo142 of of or the first deep dive???

i think it's suicide diving in such depths without highly optimized equipment and skills...

If I'm havin maybe 3000-4000 dives... i would try to start the brevetaions in that direction... mybe with the 1000th deep dive, i would try to reach such a depth...

nevertheless.. it might be suicide... trying this only with aowd+nitrox... I got deep-alarm at 30m, and thats the maximum allode there for scuba divers! DEEPER->TECCIES only!

  • thanks a lot - Anna Kozlova shot us - I made just cuting and put music. :)). she is realy doing good video.

  • deep diving is quite expensive hobby, i would say, vr3 as well, but I prefer to find some money for additional computer - than have a problems with my health.

  • Perfect video...

  • Those two dive-computers look expensive. They aren't VR3/s, are they, cos then you would have to have a shitload of money.

  • It looked like $ to me. These guys had everything. But, it didnt look like 136m. Maybe 136ft.

  • vr3, 1700 usd. not that much for your life.

  • plus i assume these guys are russian as the writing is russian lol

  • Good to sea someone finally make it out of the blue hole ALIVE!

  • What's the fun in that. Being scared shitless all the time and constantly having to look at your dive computer. Not to mention weighing 300 pounds sbefore entering the water. Crazy people.

  • the point is to get a massive adrenaline rush

  • Is the music in the middle of the vid. from a group called "Blue" that existed in the mid 70´s by chance?..or where are the music from?=)

    Nice dive

  • that is so sick

  • I didnt see the famous arch!

  • u did at 3:20

  • Savo light 21 watt

  • u arent a diver u r a space ship. heheh

good dive, nice light i guess u used artificial light, didnt u?

  • I really did not expect that the light at 136m is that bright.

  • i know im suprised to

  • ive bother getting in and out with just one bottle never mind six. great dive

  • wow many flask he got

  • 0.21....got a hole in your tank...use duct tape...it will cure all problems. Cool to see the red neck practice of 100 mile an hour tape is international

  • You're the clueless redneck.

The duct tape is used to write on, nothing else. It would take a brainless fool like you to label a tank by writing directly onto the aluminum - because, guess what, if the tank becomes empty, you have no way to erase the maerkings.

  • Dude, relax, Have you ever heard of satire....doubt it or you wouldn't have replied the way you did...I fully understand why they write on the tank, it is explained. I was simply making a joke about the use of duct tape in yet another innovative way. Get a grip.

  • seen better & a lot safer. I hope they don't get hurt one of these days

  • So what was there at 136 m deep?

  • If you have to ask...

  • r0ck3tsm0k3: Sure! I am curious! What did you see there?

  • rhcp? xD

  • cool dive!!!!!

    plus great proceedures.

    keep up the good work.

  • congratulations - bravo

  • when your going that deep it gets really technical

  • they have a lot of tanks because their doing a tri mix dive.

  • every such dive is worth 2% of brand new rebreather. 50 dives == rebreather, which allows deep diving at a fraction of a cost. regards :-)

  • what dive computers do they use?

  • VR3, uwatec digital bottom 330 m, and suunto viper (in gauge mode)

  • I didn't think blue hole was that deep....

  • omfg how much tanks

  • as usual - the same amont of tanks used on Yolanda dive.

  • that can't be good!!

  • risky .....

  • sometimes you need more ... trust me

  • whats with all the oxygen tanks!!? do you really need that many for 136 meters?????

  • never enough tanks... backup of backup

  • They all have different levels of oxygen in them due to the gas becoming toxic at depth.

  • Going down is quick, coming back up, not so quick :)

  • Ahh, i see. I've never gone diving anyways. lol

  • Respect man!!!

Most people don't understand how dangerous this is.

  • absolutely true. I know nothing about scuba diving. But I know alot about freediving. That's why I said Not Bad, as in pretty cool.

  • not bad for diving with tanks

  • you dont know nothing about scuba diving

  • overseasmedia: if he got the bottom he would be at china. kkkk

  • Running out of air wont be a problem! lmao =] atleast you took good precautions. alot of fatal accidents have taken place there. i also see why you didnt dive the full depth. it's very dangerous. you did that dive excellently! well done!!

  • There is no "full depth" in Blue Hole!!! Have you ever been there?

  • of course theres a full depth it dosnt go on forever!!

  • lool

  • andrecolares: LoL for sure.

  • overseasmedia: if he got the bottom he would be at china. kkkk

  • go to islas de la bahia in honduras!!!

there are three islands one calls roatan!!!

  • bravo
