  • D LSP stop whining and enjoy the damn film

  • @latergee latergrapefruit stfu

  • Your hate has made you powerful Yip Man, strike the twister down with all of your hatred and your journey towards the shock and awesomely triumphant side will be complete!

  • i've been so damn excited

  • Kung Fu lvl: Still Asian =)

  • ...I'd like to see him block some Ip hits without those boxing gloves...

  • Western martial arts = weapons for killing and massacre, disabling human body as first priority

Chinese martial arts = sports to strengthen human's body and soul, philosophies and wisdoms to learn from mother nature, and seek harmony with the world

  • @Hunter6213 Chinese martial arts = both empowering body, mind and soul, but also being able to defend (ancient times, in temples with monks).

  • Lesson of the day : Dun fuck with chinese.

  • 5:00 when he does that is when you know the other guy is fuckeedddddd!

  • Best part at 5:20

  • I like how the British guy needs gloves and mouthpiece, what a wuss.

  • When I watched this movie, it reminded me of Rocky IV, when he fights Viktor Drago

  • meh.. typical chinese special forces.

  • 7 British just disliked the video

  • And thus the English knew not to screw with Chinese people

  • a kung-fu fighter being allowed to use every move having a hard time against a boxer only using his sport? Sorry chinamen but this movie doesnt really favor you.

  • @2ane

kung fu isnt really used as a weapon to begin with. It was initially practiced for self discipline, self defense, and self control. Also for the sake of being healthy and strong.

PS, later in the movie the kung fu guy was told not to use kicks because the boxer couldn't handle it. But afterall, it is only a movie. So why so serious lol

I suggest you watch the whole thing

  • This Twister guy is a jerk even for a white man.

  • I hate Twister a lot because he killed hung and cheat by punching ip man during the break with no punishment

  • Reason why Kung Fu isn't used in MMA is cause most of the strikes and techniques were meant to seriously injure or disable someone. You don't want MMA fighters dropping out or becoming disabled on TV live do you?

  • @Bip7287

yeah because nobody tries injuring somebody in a mma-fight right?

  • @2ane well i've not seen many mma fights but im fairly sure they dont let u gouge peoples eyes out of kick them in the balls

  • 8:21 F***

  • mma is gay when it comes to street fighting

and yip man really did exist and he really did fight a boxer and beat his ass

  • They call Twister world champion when hes only fought in Britain

  • 12:05 - It's a CELEBRATION Bitches!...

  • around what year was the movie supposed to take place, I don't know much about Ip Man but it looks to be about the 30's or 40's

  • @Zak024 I'm not to sure myself, but this movie definitely after WW2 and Japanese occupation. They're in British controlled Hong Kong so maybe late 40's or in the 50's.

  • wing chun is technical..and Donnie yen presents it so perfectly!

  • 8:00 Didn't know there was so many people called Brad.

  • Ipman should take off his clothes and fight wif twister

  • 6:40 fastest fukin punches ive ever seen!!! O.O

  • Comment removed

  • Dubbed? Why didn't you switch to the original language?

  • 5:11-5:25 makes the hairs on my neck stand up, awesome combo.

great fight scene, with a great ending.

I'm english and I wanted Ip man to beat the guy really heavily :)

  • Truth is, if you are trained more powerful, in other words, having bigger, stronger mucles on your body, you can endure more punches than others. Western boxing or taekwando, are always more effective in real life fighting because they give more damages than other martial arts.

One punch alone will make any untrained opponent feels pain or even fall to the ground.

How about WingChun? Wingchun takes a lot more time get used to the martial art.

  • Chances are, if you're not familiar with it, you will receive a few more punches from your opponent before you hit them to the ground.

  • @LoveSerah tell why that martial arts is an art to make it special and attractive fists and kicks, it's like when the Joker in Batman the Dark Knight says he enjoys killing with a knife to kill with a gun on Joker knife enjoyed killing that was slow and painful to kill, the gun does not make you suffer so much, just as the martial arts, you think about Bruce Lee? the could kill with a single combo ... and think that this is the teacher of Bruce Lee

  • correct me if i'm wrong, more experienced wing chun see hings, kicking is not a big component in wing chun anyways. am i right?

  • I know I can't beat Western fighters,at least I can hit faster than them....I think...

  • i turned on 3d and i got punched:/

  • I'm laughing my ass off that the end of this movies message was that no style is superior and it is an individuals integrity and the comment section turns into a fight over which style is best.

  • idk about u guys but i almost cried a couple times watching this movie some parts r sad especcially this fight when sammo hung died

  • @Black24x1 I cried too

  • Every time Ip Man has a flashback some guy gets fucked up.

  • that loser is hitting after the bell rang and there is no disqualification ?? What rule is that ??fuc%#$g disgusting !! And he is claiming to be world champ ? Looser afraid of kicks from a smaller man !!

  • If one was to MASTER and Combine The Martial Arts of the Five Continents of Earth, from Eskrima to Wing Chun, to Krav Maga and MMA, Sambo to Karate...we'd get 2012.

  • @DexWulf123 I know two guys called Bruce who did that.

  • @DexWulf123 The Last Airbender.

  • @DexWulf123 MMA is not a martial art, MMA= what ever it takes to take your opponent down, no skill required

  • @shweetguy "what ever it takes to take your opponent down" You know you just contradicted yourself. :D

  • @DexWulf123 So basically...Batman?

  • @DexWulf123 Maybe it's Goku

  • @DexWulf123 7 continents*

  • @DexWulf123 No one man can cause "2012" except Jesus Christ. Subscribe! :)

  • @DexWulf123 Gonna be me mate, not too keen on Krav Maga and Sambo, though...

  • @reuelckj Then, I shall cheer you on.

  • @DexWulf123 Yesssssssss

  • @ShamelessNugget Join me in the creation of thissssss monssssssterrrrrr....

  • In a real fight, martial arts is superior. No rules.

However, when there's stupid crap like judges who say you can't kick, of course it's not fair. It's like telling someone they can't use their mouth in an all you can eat food contest.

  • This is wat happens when the best mma fighter fights the best boxer

  • I love how the first thing he does when he spins him around is knock out his mouthguard. It's like he's saying "I don't have one and neither should you. Bitch."

  • This is not exaggerating, Yip Man is Bruce Lee's master

  • AND THEN DAVID SLAYED GOLIATH

  • Am I the only one who realized they had Light Fading Technology in that era of time?

  • This guy wasn't even worth the effort for him, he didn't even roll up his sleeves. Haha

  • Sure boxing packs huge punches that feel like being hit by trains but without the inclusion of legs, which are WAY more stronger than their upper counter parts, Boxers would lose indefinitely. Example when Muhammad Ali fought an MMA fighter who could only use his legs WHILE on the ground, although Ali managed three massive hits, the trauma from all those kicks he received to his legs almost made him an amputee. Eastern fighting style is just superior because of the inclusion of the WHOLE body.

  • @Tim33ist And that's why boxing is a sport

  • i like master hung's fight untill he dies.....

  • Lol I notice how the kicking wasn't a problem until Ip started winning.......

  • Странный какой-то поединок... Если это боксёрский бой - то у них разные весовые категории! Если же бой без правил - то удары ногами вполне уместны!

  • im not a fan of ip man 2... he had to deal with the bullshit from japan in the 1st one and now this shit!? damn!! come on!!! lol

  • You expect a man with a crushed skull to fight Mr.Referee?

  • No kicking=fails...

  • i really like ip man movies

  • The boxer lost, but he gave him a hell of a fight, no doubt why bruce lee liked western boxing so much, it is very powerful and efficient as well, big respect for both

  • Best fight of "material arts" history!

  • 5 British disliked this

  • 11:32 blood, 11:38 no blood, 11:50 fxcked up

  • he won by TKO

  • they should hav gave ip man a mouthpiece..

  • KICK THE BALLS. IT ALWAYS FRIKIN WINS!!

  • dudley lost.

  • tbh in a real boxing match hitting AFTER the bell to seperate is usually disqualification but i like how they warned him for kicking but nothing on the guy punching him clearly after the bell was rung lmao

  • Awesome movie ! Thx Wing Chun !

  • 8:01 How many brads are there? :S

  • ip man delivers brutal punch combos

  • kung fu vs. boxing ....nicee

  • wat does material arts mean?

  • I like training in both Boxing and Wing Chun(Ving Tsu) but mostly Wing Chun cuz I will put my opponent down quickly.

  • is it just me or does anyone else find the ref's voice completely annoying?

  • 5 British dislike the button i guessed :? Hahaha.

  • @timothysxc And now there's 6

  • coño en que cabeza cabe que un boxeador logra tocar a un peleador de kung fu jajajaja, pero bueno es una película

  • my name is Milos ^^

  • There are many differences between Sports and Street Fighting. In sports, you have rules to protect you, but in street fighting, there are no rules, no protection. So, even if you can fight in MMA, you can't necessarily fight in street fighting. For example, as far as i know, low kicks are not allowed in sports, but obviously have no rules prohibiting it in street fighting.

  • @beohel u can kick below the waist....just not the nuts....No hair pulling, no fish hooking, no nut shots, punches to the back of the head or head butts and a few others. but nothing that is extremely different to someone who fights with honor. most street fights are just 2 losers with little talent and one gets a lucky punch and then stomps the guy out.

  • Taylor is one of the judges i think!

  • G j

  • everyone shut the fuck up about mma thats an organized sport

  • @MarioHHoshino

Too true. Street fighting is so different from an organized sports. You have specific rules. You're limited to certain things like "Dirty Fighting" which you could say is just exploiting weakness.

  • In truth it depends on the circumstances and the fighters... Eastern Martial Artists are small and train to hit rapidly, precisely, and very fast with moderate impact, however a Western fighter like a Boxer or a UFC fighter is both genetically and ethnically bigger, and therefore is trained for more endurance and power rather than speed.. it's like a pair of butterfly knives against a pair of sticks with bowling balls on it.. it all depends on the fighters and who gets the best hits

  • The guys I'm really scared of are the dudes that are as big and bulky as hardened boxers and UFC fighters with the same power, but have the precision and speed of the eastern martial arts combined with their own western origin... I.E. Chuck Norris and Stephen Segal... those guys just kick everyone's ass

  • Saying kicking is prohibited in this match was bullshit, especially after it had gone on for a few rounds. 8:48 .....then they want to make up a rule that should have been discussed before the match started.

  • @PhantomSavage hmmm...u are right...boxers are trained to hit hard ..and wing chun fighters are trained ti hit precisely and fast but at wing chun u are trained to penetrate...so with only one perfect techniqually punch u can even make the other guy faint...and the wing chun trainers through some exercises they learn how to feel the move without even looking.. ( it is called chi sao) ...just sayin...this is not just a sport ... this is an art...i dont underestimate anyone...just sayin...

  • @PhantomSavage Bullshit, in real life a Kung Fu pro would waste a boxing bro.

  • @tazss159 It all depends on the fighter.

  • @PhantomSavage what if a Western fighter learns Eastern Martial Art O.o

  • Comment removed

  • @frozenapple92 ya hes called van dam

  • @PhantomSavage one exception would be Boyka... he's big, and yet very fast...

  • This film reminds me of the time in jr high school where we use to beat these lousy white boys all the time in football, then they gotta call their daddy and uncles to play against kids?! Sad thing was, we still beat them half the times!

  • In IP Man 1, Ip man was only actually hurt 1 time

  • Put Twister against the japanese emperor [with boxing gloves off] who would win and why ?

  • @DragonTrixter General Muira would probably win, however, with no kicks and such, Twister would most likely win.

  • 5:20 Badass knockout

  • 0:00 - 10:34 rough start

10:35 - 11:44 let the ass kicking begin

    Epic win Superb Fatality

  • damned mandarin... this should be in cantonese T_T

  • lol the uploader spelled "Martial" wrong lol

  • @xDoomGazex Because he's a material girl.

  • @xDoomGazex LOL they put material arts film! epicness!

  • 10:30 - 11:36

    THAT'S WHAT FUCKING HAPPENS.

  • @Imhungry4444 it's not the art or style that beats the opponent, it's dedication and determination. If Ip man were in modern day, he would still dominate anybody who dares get in his way, during the battle, the pretty modern day boxer you noticed that he adapted to the situation, on top of that WC is more than 200yrs old and was still able to take down someone 3x his size.

  • wow...so much hate...its only a movie yknow? "ONLY A MOVIE" STOP THE HATE!!

  • Donnie Yen is so good I think he never lost a fight in any film

  • @Jokerz199 He did. Once. In Bodyguards and Assasins.

  • "i can finish you off in 2 punches" "i can finish you off by breathing"

  • the northener can kill twister in very short time

  • This is the best fight scene ever made. IP Man brought such honor to his country; thank you.

  • this isnt a fucking boxing match. its an MMA match

  • that pressure point garbage wouldnt work against a world champion boxer who has adrenaline pumping through his body. he might feel it after the fight but thats it. what a fail

  • @imhungry4444 So I'm guessing if I kicked you in the nuts and punched you throat wouldn't feel anything?

  • @junwangjack those are illegal blows. im talking about unified rules. in the cage against an athlete whos body is pumping adrenaline. that shit dont work. but whatever gets you the win, i wont judge. even if it is underhanded.

  • @imhungry4444 wrong dude.the human body is very strong especially on a world champion boxer but its still flesh and bones.pressure points are the same even if you are stronger or bigger than others.dont underestimate them they deliver extreme pain to the body. .for your info my friend ip man knocked out the boxer in 10 seconds by breaking his knees.check his bio.no offense

  • @MrKoubaros if ip man fought in todays MMA game he would get dominated ASAP. against an experience collegiate wrestler he would get dominated. plus todays fights dont focus on on art. a wrestler would probably have a BJJ game to boot and ip man has no experience off his back. this is just a movie. that wing chun garbage doesnt work anymore. no offense

  • @imhungry4444 you say it dosen't work. Go look up a few boxer/wrestler/MMA fighter vs. martial artist vids and see the results. They don't ALWAYS win, but a good 9/10 times the martial artists win. Why? because they know how to exploit your body agaisnt you while all you know is "PUNCH PUNCH = HURT HURT"

  • @Arranzu 9/10? very unlikely. fighting has evolved though the one martial art per fighter game. in todays fighting world one must have a complete fighting base which includes a ground game and a stand-up game. a wing chun master would get demolished against an MMA figher with a collegiate wrestling background and maybe some BJJ. fighting has evolved. that 9/10 statistic is 100% false. their only excuse from not proving themselves is that "oh its for self defense purposes" STFU

  • @imhungry4444 wing chung? fuck that im not even talking about wing chun. Go look up some of the more brutal styles. Some of them would turn their whole BJJ game agaisnt them. You keep talking about a collegiate back ground, not realizing that most martial artists train from the moment they walk, no that isn't some bullshit i'm making up either, some of them are born into the schools and taught from when they can walk.

  • @Arranzu just because u have learned and trained the same moves and techniques your entire life doesnt mean you are unbeatable. a one dimensional fighter loses to a multidimensional fighter 95% of the time. the other 5% is a punchers chance. more options, which means more ways to win. each style has its weakness but when u cover those weaknesses with other styles to become a complete fighter in every aspect of fighting. that is MMA, that is why MMA is at the top.

  • @imhungry4444 that isn't MMA, all MMA means is mixed martial arts. MMA is far from the top, if it was that's how everyone would train their militia. Plus no one trains in one style their entire life, that's just redundant. Hell jason bourne himself knows 6 different forms (yea that crazy movie actor can ACTUALLY fight, who knew right?). Plus one style isn't ever REALLY one style, it's usually a mix of about 6 different kinds. Why would anyone limit themselves to knowing one thing?

  • @Arranzu Actually most military units do teach what qualifies as MMA.For example the North Koreans train their soldiers in Tae Kwon Do ( primarily kicks with some punches/strikes) and Hapkido ( grappling / submission and locks ).I think pretty much everyone nowadays does MMA or MMA related fighting. As long as you have at least ONE extra style, you're doing MMA.

  • @imhungry4444

what if the wing chun master was also a mma fighter and bjj black belt?

  • @imhungry4444 Lol it's not pressure points he is doing, Ip Man was fluent in the art of Wing Chun, which implements fast and precise attacks. The punches he throws may look weak but they are very far from it. It would be a legal fight as well if they Fought under the martial art rules. Most if not chinese martial arts contain a combination of kicks and punched along with grapples so to beat a boxer at his own game is really saying something.

  • Comment removed

  • a heavyweight boxer takin on a lightweight martial artist..........wow

  • 10:10 - 11:40 Epic EEEEPIC!

  • Comment removed

  • stupid matrix agent

  • Ip man should've rolled up his sleeves

  • the twister looks like the guy who played Kano on Mortal Kombat Legacy

  • the chinese are good at making movies...a shame all of them have to be a nationalist propaganda film

  • @kenocartel Sweeping generalization much?

  • Hmm... i wanna see the boxing dude against Cung Lee :D that would be a nice ass fight to see

  • martial arts rules!!!!!

  • So why does the Twister have to wear huge padded gloves and Ip Man has bare knuckles?? That seems very unfair to Twister.

  • epic fight

  • the chinese commentators eye brows are the bestt!!!! =D

  • Is that Agent Smith?

  • I feel ashamed that the announcer's Chinese is so much better than mine.

  • If this was real, Ip Man would suck Twister's dick. :P

  • @Deecee022 lmao not even. boxing vs kung fu, of course kung fu wins. epecially fighting a grandmaster is not a smart idea.

  • @PhajEjKiller ah-ah. If you look at the real Ip Man's physique and his son, you know about it. If you could just see how a boxer specially a champion trains before the fight compared to whoever grand master he is, you know about it. I have seen a lot of fights between a boxer and a martial-artist in real life. And a boxer easily wins. I'm a martial artist but I knock opponents the way a boxer does and I'm physically trained like a boxer.

  • @Deecee022 im not just talking about a martial-artist.... im talking about a "KUNG-FU GRANDMASTER"... my friend's grandpa is a grandmaster at tai chi and he knock out this 3 time championship boxer in 20 seconds just defending those seconds before it hits the 20 second. BTW ip man really did fought a boxer but not how this movie does it. he beat the boxer in 10 seconds. anyways idc which is better, im just saying what i believe. all fighting styles are cool. SO LONG! xD

  • @PhajEjKiller Most Chinese exaggerate. This film is a concrete evidence. In fact, most Chinese films are. If its even true that Ip Man defeated this boxer in seconds, you could look into boxing history to see how many British became World Champions. And there are many Mexicans, Black Americans and Filipinos who defeated British World Champions. How about the Chinese who are said to be the pioneers of Martial Arts? I wouldn't even wonder if a Chinese exaggerates.

  • @Deecee022 LOOL martial artist and someone who is grand master artist different
